Hi
I am using the basic game and am not getting any points for sailing or my cutlass. I am stuck on level 7 on the cutlass and 5 I think on sailing and no points come my way for the level or the notoriety. Am I doing something wrong ?

The level cap for basic is much lower. Maybe you hit the cap already?

basic members can only get weapons and skills up to lvl 7 after that they can go no further until they begin paying.

basic guys can only go to weapon level 7 and noterity level 12

Notoriety lvl 12? Dunno where you saw that. Spose if I stop paying I will go from lvl 40 to lvl 12 then eh? lol I had a friend get to 20 before she could pay. She is from Australia and had problems getting paypal to work... But yes, the weapon skills are limited to lvl 7.

I've seen basic players at level 14. I don't think there is an explicit notoriety cap. But with the weapons capped at 7, there's going to be an effective notoriety cap somewhere around there.
