Treasure Chest, & VooDoo doll thing.. -- Help Me Please

hi guys, I'm in need of some help...I've been stuck on this task for a while now.. so here's my question:


I found the medal. I need help on where else I need to go and find more items for the voodoo doll thing. Anyone know??

Where do I find The First Medal of Port Royal from a burried treasure chest.?

Also, I'm doing another quest I guess at the same time here too.. and I had to go over to the island Cuba to talk to someone.. now today I went there and the person on the island didn't tell me where to go next for the next task on what I'm supposed to do for it, Like, I went and it was talking but I couldn't hear what it was saying to me at all.. &+ it keeps telling me that I need to be somewhere else at the meantime.. & I don't even know where to be! It's for the voodoo doll, I think?

So if anyone could please, please help me that would be much appriecated! Thank you!

Any dig spot in port royal, keep trying if you dont find it right away. (Find green circles on the ground, and hit Shift to dig).

Press "J" to get to your journal, when you click on the last item in the quest it should give you some instructions. Or it may also reflect a list of items to be obtained. Either way, this is how you can keep track of the 'next' step of each quest you obtain.

I pressed "J" and it says that I found all the bales of wire and have to return to Tia Dalma to get more info on the quest. I did that several times and it still says to go and see her. :/ I've checked if I need to find anything else for the quest and it says nothing else.. so Idk what to do now.

Ok, now I cant remember the details of that quest, but I believe you have to get Straw, Tar, or Pitch(?)... a couple more ingredients other than the bales of wire.

If you have multiple ingredients/required items to get, and you click on any one of them you've completed, it may tell you to return to the quest giver, however they will usually only say "Good Job!" once, and then ignore you until you return with more completed ingredient/required items lists. They will not give any real further information or acknowledgment until all items have been achieved/obtained.

And where can I find the other ingredients, do you know? Like, are they in crates, or even boxes somewhere? Thanks for all the help!

If it says to search "Storage Containers" its usually referring to Barrels, and/or Crates. It would also tell you where they would be located.

If your searching for more than one item, then usually one would be in Barrels, the other in Crates. If you approach several crates and are told "Nothing Interesting Here" then it is likely you need Barrels instead of Crates (and vica versa).

But, I keep getting told that there's "Nothing Interesting Here" when I look in crates. And, I don't know where other Crates or Barrels would be.. Do you know what islands have them? Thank for all the help!

If you cant find enough at Fort Charles, then you can try Fort Dundee at Padres Del Fuego.

If tells you its at Fort Charles though in the journal, you must be missing some

If it says storage containers at any navy fort then, try Padres and Fort Dundee.
