I figure this is the best place to ask

In july I joined up for this game at the site, I sent in my E3 beta when that was announced. The other day, I received the stress test email, which got me excited to see the beta was finally opened. Because I got the e-mail, i figured that meant I was in the beta, but then i was prompted for the key. In the e-mail, it calls me a beta tester, however I never received a key. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Same thing is happening with me, and I've contacted them many times and still have not received any response. I first registered with POTC Online on 5/31/06, yes almost a year ago. Throughout the months I would receive updates of game, information, etc. Then on 3/9/07 I received the e-mail about me registering to receive my priority beta key, which I registered and such just to receive the "Thanks for joining POTC Online" e-mail. Then just on 4/13/07 I received the Stress Test e-mail just to find out that I cant even try, because they didnt send out my beta key yet. I was really not in a good mood because I have been looking forward to playing this game since 5/31/07 when I registered to test/play.

Hopefully they will respond to my e-mails sometime and I will receive a beta key soon.

Yeah, exactly the same as me with the game updates. *Sigh* I've been looking forward to this for so long.

I think it's just an email glitch, they are mistakenly sending the beta emails to everyone that requested to play beta. They must've merged their email data bases or something.
