Arrgh, THE LAG!!!

I was on last night during the stress test, but tried again two hours after it ended and I was lagging so much it was ridiculous. I know it wasn't just me because when my pirate was finally able to move I found I was surrounded by other pirates that were frozen in place as well.
I really do wish one of their launching points wasn't in the yard with the skeletons, they still attack even though we can't move and I wake up in jail more often than not because of it.

Does anyone know if there is a way to reinstall the test site? When we got our key my son was so excited he installed it on his computer, the slower one, but I wanted it on mine. The game is unplayable with the lag as it is right now.

Try logging into the main web page http://apps.pirates.go.com/pirates and once your user account and password are entered hit PLAY and perhaps you can then download and install game on your computer.
I have unistalled and reinstalled using this site a few times so it is worth a try. Good Luck !!!!

And the lag is terrible right now even on the less populated server.

Ah, matey, the lag is so frustrating! I got my key on Saturday, and began playing right away. i am slowly figuring everything out. Have you found the button to quit the game? I have been closing it with the "X". I played last night at 10:30pm until after midnight. The lad was not as bad. I found out it is open all the time.
