Complete guide to lvling 1-40 (basic and unlimated)

OK first basic accounts...

well first off Ur going to have a rough time but there is some good news I'm a master at leveling

1.train on lv 2 cadets and undeads in port royal until lv 5

2.get voodoo doll and train to lv 10 by using range attacks or use a pistol

3. u might want to get unlimited or else u r going to have a hard time if u don't have the money to pay train with the voodoo doll until lv 30 then max ur stats

Here's another way


1.keep beating black pearl quest until u reach point were u need unlimited u should be lv 6

2.get voodoo doll or pistol or sword to lv 5 to buy next item above that

3.train with the wep u got until 10 then buy next one and keep training

here's an easier way so u don't need unlimited check this out

1.use a guide to get to lv 10

2.then buy light galleon

3.plunder its a fast way to get gold,saling points,and leveling up points(warning don't jump in to this under lv 5 U WILL DIE ALOT)

OK now UNLIMATED PLAYERS

here's the fun part

the quickest way is this

1.Get ur lv up high using basic guide or ur own way

2.At lv 15 stop

3.buy the best ship u can

4.get a crew or go alone and plunder i bet u will be lv 25
+ in a week

another way is

1.use basic guide until lv 20 then use grenades to blow up a large amount of monsters or undead(etc)until lv 30

2.at lv 30 get a staff (hope u lvl up voodoo to a high amount)and start killing high lv monsters

3.and then get maxed out when u reach 40

A easier way but harder then 1st is..

1.get lv to 5

2.beat the pearl quest

3.at what ever lv u are buy the highest wep u can buy and start killing monsters around ur lv

That's a lot of information. And I'm sure some of it is helpful (I'm just not sure what part).

My first reaction after reading that was HUH??!!

Maybe splitting that into a few posts and expanding on some of the topics- the "use grenades until level 30" is a bit on the vague side. It reminds me of a chiltons car manual where to go from step 1 to step 2 requires 10 other steps and knowing 1 small trick.

OK this is probably going to date myself...

The grammar is horrible. You are not sending text messages and not everybody will use the same abbreviations that you are (or make the same logical steps). You are not restricted by a number of characters or the time it takes to enter the message.

Use the text editor of your choice to seriously write out your guide and fix your facts (e.g. basic members do not get the staff). Then read it backwards one sentence at a time. If that sentence does not make sense, it probably needs to be rewritten.

I'm not the world's greatest writer and I have made some questionable posts. But I also don't put my work out there with the goal to have everybody read it.

And I'm sure by now I have to yell at you about being on my lawn...

I would recommend choosing a specific subject and focusing on it.

How to make a pirate, is by far too broad a focus. Especially when much of the process and result will vary depending on each persons style of play, and personal preference.

Techniques on weapon leveling, skill point usage, etc.. i'd focus on something like that if I was set on creating a "Guide".

Valid Facts, and less heresay/opinion are also most useful in such guides.

Its a somewhat good 'general outline' (with the corrections noted in Angels post) more than a guide - as it depends what your goals are for your pirate and what you want to accomplish in the game As an example, someone making a 'PvP Pirate' wouldn't do this outline because your focus is weapons only...

As Samuel poitns out - if your focus is to make a General Guide then you should point out the following areas:

>Early Levels
What To Quest
What Weapons To Work On To What Level
Locations To Explore For Leveling
>Mid Levels
What To Quest
What Weapons To Work On To What Level
Locations To Explore For Leveling
>Higher Levels
What To Quest
What Weapons To Work On To What Level

Its a good starting point, and good luck putting it together as it will be a lot of work... But if done and done right will help a lot of new pirates

I highly suggest doin a run through on your first pirate and then on your second, making necessary changes from there. hunters not perfect but shes darn close to my perfect build. Angels the messed up one. Vix is gettin the works!! Its all about trial and error. This game is about fun!
