League's Suggestions, #2: Diversified Apparel

(This is currently one out of four of League's suggestions: check them out, and check out his hope-to-be-soon-to-be Guild.)

Though there may be many clothes to buy in POTCO, the selection is rather limited. First off, it's hard to see just how many actual different variants there are of a piece, as each different color of a piece has it's own slot. I'd suggest that the clothes in the store be sorted by piece with the color available to choose from. The name in the inventory could just be covered as such: ex.- Fancy Long Sleeved Shirt, Green. They'd have to allow for you to buy more than one Fancy Long Sleeved Shirt though, as they'd be a different piece. It's simple really.

As such, more actual clothing is needed. I for instance want to see pants that are puffed out at the bottom, like a grenade is stuffed in them. That's just an idea, and I'm sure it's being worked on, so no mind. I just want to see those pants baby!

However, more kinds of apparel are needed. Someone proposed necklaces/chains, and I would like to see those in addition to scarfs. Scars were an interesting thing that were also proposed, and they would certainly make for a ferocious look: dare I say it, a piratey one.

Another thing to see would be robes, or, at the least, a type of jacket that would fit a foreignish pirate, while appearing as a robe.

The lack of clothing available for women is greater than it is for men. They might need some unique clothing, as only we men can go without our shirt off.

Last of all, there is no need for clothing to cost as much as a ship. The cheaper stuff should be dropped in price, the more expensive stuff should be dropped as well but also worked for (not for the actual item, but for actual access to the storekeeper's product).

A formerly unlimited member should be able to keep what they've bought, not withstanding clothes. However, if need be, it can be so they can't access their inventory. However, they should be allowed their last look that they were as members.

I'm also going to associate notoriety in here. If we get new suits or change them, we should be able to fool enemies around us into thinking we're some other person, not half as notorious. Obviously, the more infamous you are, generalized to a look, the less likely it is for you to not be recognized. Anyway, being able to lower our notoriety levels temporarily would be a doozy. After changing an article of clothing, style, jewelry or what not, I propose an hour goes by that we lose a certain amount of overall notoriety. That'd be sweet, and would make leveling as easy as buying and changing our clothes.

I'll save this post for ideas, as the first post wasn't so helpful, nor was it full of help. Suggestions were a bit lacking, so they'll go here.

Clothing
Hats: I like the idea of a Roman emporer's leaf lauret being able to be bought. As well, a conquistador-style metal helmet would make for a cool addition, and a rice hat or samurai helmet would make for a really widespread choice of fashions.

Neckware: I'm thinking anything from a scarf, to a snake, to two undead hands could go here. Another spot would be open here for jewelry, to make for some cool look total.

Shirts:

Vests:

Jackets: Some kind of robe that was open around the front, thus being open for tats, shirts and vests to be seen, but robed around the back, to make for a cool appearance-eh, i could see it.

Belts: Skirts could go here, as it'd be cool for them to go over pants; if you simply wanted to just wear a skirt, there could be another kind of skirt in the pants department, which could just be worn under. (Note: you could wear a belt skirt over a pants skirt to have it look like one brimmed skirt.) Something similar could be a towel-thing being tied around the waist.

Pants: Again, if you just wanted to wear a skirt, it could go here.

Boots: Sandals would be a nice addition, and two nice, white polar bear loafers would give you a classy finish.

Jewelry
Foreware (ware for the forehead, like an Indian jewel or what not): Eh, the jewel could be there, or perhaps a band could be here, the others etc.

Eyebrow Piercings:

Nose Piercings:

Ear Piercings: They should make some dangly wanglies, and I mean dangly. Other than that, eh.

Lip Piercings:

Chin Piercings:

Necklaces/Chains: They could do some nice things here, like make a variety of short and long, thin and thick, silver and gold, and embled chains here. Who knows?

Right Rings: I'd like to have a full hand of rings, as that'd just be a crazy overdoing. A hand full of the Rhineworth Rings would be crazy tacky.

Left Rings: Same as above.

Belly Piercings: A belly button thing, for those with the great fortune of showing our packs. Eh, eh?

Tats
Facial:

Neck: This mightn't be totally necessary, though it is a crazy thing for showing our stripes.

Chest:

Right Shoulder: I felt like splitting the arm into two sections, the additional being for the forearm.

Left Shoulder:

Right Forearm: This is just to enable more of the body to be covered, making it more appealing for many people.

Left Forearm: Same as above.

Belly (for women):

Hair
Tophead hair:

Eyebrow hair: We should be able to select between bushy, thin, and wiry brows.

Mustachial Hair:

Beardial Hair:

Chest Hair: This would be cool for us that go barechested, or, better yet, those of us that wear a revealing shirt. Some hair just sticking out'd sure make for an attractive sight.

Arm Hair: This'd be cool too, I guess.

Leg Hair: C'mon, it's discriminatory to not include this.
