Revenant Forces

The Revenant Forces are a guild focusing on those who have been rejected by other guilds or feel their guild does not see their potential. Other than the above mentioned, we accept almost anyone. However, if you are a basic member, your notoriety must be 12 or higher. Our pirates help each other in times of need. We stick together, no matter what happens. There are people online at almost all times. We believe that in order to start a revolution which will spark the minds and inspire pirates all over the world, we need to organize and unite.

Since we now have 20+ members, I am now requiring all new entrants to pass a simple test. For now, allow me to state our "Guildlines", or guidelines:

1) In order to become part of the Revenant Forces, you must first meet most of following requirements:

• Unlimited Access or
• Basic Access w/Notoriety 12+
• Guildless or
• Rejected or
• Held Back (Held Back basically means your guild does not realize your potential and fails to give you proper respect.)
• Respectful
• Passing of the "Test" (Will be explained later)

2) No pirate will be left behind. This applies to all possible cases, be they on land or sea.

3) There are no traitors. If someone wishes to leave they may leave and are always welcomed back. If this person was an Officer, however, they shall not receive full privileges if they join again, unless otherwise stated by the Guildmaster.

4) Pirates below level 20 notoriety may not become Officers. Anyone above level 20 notoriety who has proven their loyalty to the Revenant Forces and is trusted by the Guildmaster may become an Officer. This will ensure the strength of the Revenant Forces' leaders.

5) No Officer must abuse their power. If you decide to do so, you will lose all privileges.

6) We must not give up. Always keep moving forward. This applies to all possible cases, be they on land or sea.

7) There shall be no "riffraff". This includes swearing, fighting (other than playful fighting, enemy fighting, or PvP), massive chaos, etc.

8) All of the above rules apply always and anywhere. However, if there is a "State of Emergency" ( Will be explained later), the "Guildlines" shall be placed on hold and the Guildmaster along with the Officers will try to quickly help solve the problem using any means necessary.

"Test"

I am now instituting a "Test" to join the Revenant Forces. The "Test" will vary depending on your notoriety and various other aspects. There are three possible testing categories, which are:

1. PvP
2. Sailing
3. Fighting

PvP: You may be asked to PvP an Officer of the Revenant Forces or the Guildmaster. You are not expected to win, however. You are just expected to give it your best. You will most likely be tested by PvP if your notoriety is 30-40.

Sailing: You may be asked to sail with an Officer or the Guildmaster. You are not expected to defeat the selected ship, however. Effort and good captaining, including commandeering of your crewmates and tactics at sea, will land you a position in the Revenant Forces. You will most likely be tested by Sailing if your notoriety is 20-30.

Fighting: You may be asked to fight a creature, undead, navy official, or EITC official while you are accompanied by an Officer or the Guildmaster. You are not expected to defeat the selected enemy, however. Effort and good tactics, such as teaming up, skill use, and healing, will land you a position in the Revenant Forces. You will most likely be tested by Fighting if your notoriety is 1-20.

Bear in mind, however, that you may be tested for in ANY of these three categories. The thing that truly matters is the effort you display. This effort will deal with most aspects of your Guild membership. You will need to help others, team up in PvP, sail as a crew, and do various other activities which include interaction between most members of the guild. Without the appropriate effort from all members, we won't have a strong union in our guild.

The following is a message to the officers:

"State of Emergency"

A "State of Emergency" is basically a violation of 3 or more "Guildlines" at once. It can also apply if the Officers and Guildmaster believe someone has done something unforgivable (such as kick a massive amount of members for no particular reason, as an example). This, in my opinion, will probably not happen at all. In the case it does happen, it is good to have a plan.

UPDATE: 5/ 3/ 08- We have achieved our goal of 40+ members. We will now raise the limit to 20 Officers. Anyone in the guild who meets the Officer requirements please speak to me about being promoted.

UPDATE: 5/ 4/ 08- Taking into account our various members, if we counted each day from when this guild was created 34 days ago, it would be as if we obtained approx. 1.2 new members per day.

UPDATE: 5/ 8/ 08- Two of our officers have decided to take a small break from guild activities. Our policies will be in effect towards them when they return. They are under the power of the 3rd rule of our "Guildlines". For the time being, two other Officers will take care of their duties for them in the meantime.

Yes, since you're unlimited you don't need to be above level 12. Only basic members need to be above level 12. Ok, I'll PM you one of these days to meet up. Sorry I couldn't yesterday though, I was reaaally busy. I'll try to get to you ASAP.
