Hmm

I heard At World's End is going to be the last POTC movie. I'll probably have to wait and see it first, to decide if i would want them to make more POTC movies.

Well, that makes sense. A lot of movie series come in trios. (?)

Well I have a feeling that SOMEHOW, Disney is gonna incorporate the Pirates franchise into their NEW hope-to-be-a-smash-hit trilogy, based on the Prince Of Persia Video Games.

Off Topic: What in the world is that?!

On Topic: Well it makes sense to end at that movie, considering its title "At World's End".
What do you do after the World's End??

I dunno. I say it on some game site and then on Jim Hill Media. Apparently Jerry bruckheimer has had the rights forever and finally got Disney to do the film. The first movie is called The Sands of Time which was a 2003 video game. I recently ordered the game online for my Xbox 360 (since its one of the few original xbox games that plays on it), and I'm waiting to see what the heck this whole thing is about.

Well Disney thought they were going to lose their star when making POTC2 (you all know who it is LOL) so they actually filmed POTC3 right after they finished making POTC2, some of POTC3 was actually made during POTC2 but not much. So I don't think they will get a POTC4. Too bad though.

Lord of the Rings will always be the best trilogy, heh

Oh and I saw your other post about Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. If you haven't played that game yet, you haven't played a real game, lol. It is sort of weird though, takes some thinking for alot of the parts. A few things you can do is slow down time, back up time, and run across walls. Don't ask why Just play it, and be wowed

Now, back to Pirates of the Caribbean!

I believe that there is only going to be 3. I can't really imagine Johnny Depp staying around just to film POTC.

If there is one thing that a Disney news fan knows is to NOT trust Jim Hill Media. This is the same person that started the rumors that Disney bought the rights to Harry Potter (which is completely false btw).

There is always a possibility that there will be spin-offs of the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy. Perhaps spin offs of various characters, who knows? The only thing I am worried about is ruining the series. Too much of anything is bad news.

That is a REALLY good point.
I guess when you reach the end, you can either:

Not notice, walk off totally oblivious and float in space forever.

OR

Look over the edge, get scared, start running home to mommy, trip over a tiny rock, then fall off and float in space forever.

(I would probably walk off obliviously, I tend to do that a lot)

I think three is enough movies for this
series. Yeah, it would be great to see
more. But after a while it would just turn
into another boring Disney sequel, like
Cinderella 3: A Twist in Time.

I agree completely, they'll run out of plots eventually like Cinderella 3 XD
