I've been banned. Said it were gonna were off at 10 am the next day. I'm in eastern time, and I know their in California, different times, so I just waited till it was 10:00 their time, but it wouldn't let me play till 2 in the afternoon. Was this a prank of theirs? Did they hire a guy that's always late for dates? Was their computer messed up? I was mad. Trying to find entertaining videos on the internet the whole time.

This is a strange one, I logged into Potco this morning but had to go out so left myself on Abassa after completing a couple of quests. came back in around 7pm GMT (11am PDT) to start playing maybe do a few Mat Runs to master my grenades, when after about 20 mins I get a pop up stating that due to their terms and conditions my account has been placed on hold blah blah blah. So I phoned them to find out why and they explained to me that it was because of a code put into open chat that they class as hacking so the account has been placed on hold for 72hrs, Now before anyone say's it's my fault I should not of been hacking the game, I would like to say I don't know how to hack and secondly any hacking I see I will report that person instantly. I was hoping to have access to the test forums at some point but it seems now that I will not be able too. The girl at POTCO was friendly and stated that she will send me a new temporary password which I can use once the 72 hours is up. Is there a way I can appeal my ban/hold to clear my name or should I just accept the ban/hold as it's the first I've had since joining POTCO in 2010?

Don't sweat about it. Most of the time the big groups like Disney, Xbox, SOE, etc; mess up. They also aren't "pirate" enough to admit they messed up. That's why they have loopholes so that they don't have to give you good details if any about your suspension. Don't worry though. I still got test access after I was banned for saying the name of a guild they approved. And what kind of code were you putting in open chat?

That's the hing, I've no idea due to being out at the time, but from what they told me over the phone it ended in "(red)"

Oh, then I wouldn't worry about it. Also, if you've applied to test before, try to log on. It worked for me after sme time of waiting. They don't send emails to tell you anymore. :I

I've got my second ban I told the following levels that they should not be in el patrons mines as they do not have the key to the mines and they should leave as the ghosts will knock them out instantly. The levels are 4, 14 and 20, apparently from my ban (1 day ban mind you) is that if you go to the mines or tormenta a high level area and you see a basic low level too weak to attack the enemy you have to wast your 25 tonics on them every 3 seconds as they'll get knocked out. If you tell them to leave then you'll get banned for being rude.

Seeing low levels in places they don't stand a chance to survive without being revived will always be the norm. The game does not forbid them to teleport to the mines anymore than POTCO banning them for glitching their way in there without a key in the first place. You are not required to revive them either. Just walk away to some other place of the mines and let them waste their own tonics until they go to jail. Informing isn't the reason why a ban is warranted. It's how you informed them that can be interpreted as being 'mean'.

This is what I had said to them

05:02:03 : Level 27 pirates and below should not be in the mines, access to mines is only available to level 30 and above, please leave the mines
05: 52:05 : LOW LEVELS BELOW LEVEL 31 LEAVE THIS AREA
05: 53:01 : leave your all to weak to be in this area
05: 53:04 : Please leave you are too weak and should not be here as you have not got the keys to the mines
05: 55:05 : please leave, you are too low level to be here
05: 57:04 : If you guys get knocked out I wont heal you, so please leave as you have not got the keys to the mines and you are too weak to be in here

That's not it though a basic member in another guild who just logged on also got banned for no reason, they rarely use their basic account and when they logged on they were banned after 5 mins with a 24hr suspension and another pirate who politely asked another member to leave someone alone as they were not interested also got banned for 24hrs, Disney are saying it's rude and mean behavior.

I'm sorry to say if Disney are just going to ban people for no reason whatsoever then they may as well terminate the game, cause in my opinion Disney have more important things to do than ban people for no good reason, I have also heard now that if you don't heal someone in a high level area that person whether be level 1 or level 50 can report you for rude and mean behavior to get you banned.

ROFL Eliza... I'm sure you do, it amazes me that NONE of my pirates have run foul of the Ban Reef!!! I never hesitate to blast Basics and Unlimiteds alike for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I won't elaborate, but anyone who actually KNOWS my pirates in-game, would vouch for it.
