Going to WDW!

Hey everybody! I just wanted to tell you all that I'm <going> to Disney World. This will be my 8th time there, and I'm just a teen, so I go once every couple years. I'll be back in about 2 weeks. I love Disney so much! I'm also going to SeaWorld and Discovery Cove while I'm in Florida, too, and in past trips I've been to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. And I've been to Sea World just about every time so far - I really love Kraken (the rollercoaster at Sea World), I rode it 6 times last time I went! My favorite Disney park rides are Rock 'n' Rollercoaster, Tower of Terror, Splash Mountain, and Space Mountain. And I'm really excited about riding Expedition Everest, because the last time I went (in 2005) it wasn't there. I can't wait to get there, I just can't stand the trip there and back because it takes so long to get there from where I live. Well, see ya!

That will be so much fun! My favorite is SeaWorld. I wasn't able to do Discovery Cove yet, so you will have to tell me how it is. I just went to WDW during Mardi Gras and it was packed! You want to make sure that the first thing that you do is go to Expedition Everest and get FastPasses. They will become very handy. Also, when you go to one of the parks, look for the Vacation Club people and if your parents attend an hour long thing, you will get 5 FastPasses per person (I think it is five..). We were going to go, but we didn't have time to. It may sound lame, but see if you can buy tickets to go to the Princess & Pirate Party. There you are able to stay extra hours while the park is closed and ride most rides. We went and it was great. Of course, I dressed as a pirate woot. You also want to get FastPasses for Rock n Rollercoaster & Tower of Terror. If Space Mountain keeps on shutting down like it did when I went, there shouldn't be a line. Splash Mountain: If it is cool and nasty outside, there will be no one there. When I went, it was pretty cool, so pack some long sleeves & a jacket just incase. You also want to print out some Quests at www.VMK.com and bring them to VMK Central on Main Street. If you want anymore tips, just ask. I'd be more than happy to give some .

Thanks for the tips, Lassie! I thought they were really helpful. I told my parents about some of it. And thanks for the nice post, Captain!

And when I get back, I'll tell you what Discovery Cove was like. But I know it will be really cool, especially since we paid extra to be able to swim with the dolphins there! Woo hoo!

BTW, my favorite WDW park is Magic Kingdom, and I also really love MGM Studios. Even though Epcot and Animal Kingdom are still really awesome! And I've also been to Disneyland before, but only once. I was 3 or 4 so I don't remember any of it.

So anyway, I'll probably check the thread again <edit> before I leave. But when I get back, I'll post some stuff about the vacation.

Your going to have an awesome time going. Make sure you get those fastpasses and get them early in the day if possible. I just had a friend who came back and said that the fastpasses for Soarin were out for the day by 10 am and make sure you see the newest attractions, Everest (duh), Finding Nemo the Musical, and if your lucky The Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor. Have loads of Disney fun!!

Oh wow, that sounds like a lot of fun!
I wish my family did that, the whole two weeks at a Disney park. I was lucky if I got to go once a year to Disneyland. But now it has all changed, because we moved, so it less likely that I'll get to go because I live SO far away.
But I like your family's idea of going for two weeks every few years.
Make sure to take lots of pictures! And post all the ones without people on here.

Don't forget your VMK quests, too!

Don't want to get into too much detail here.. or I would be here all day.
Just a note that you will love Discovery Cove. It's a quiet, relaxing place to swim with dolphins and fish. Or just float around in the river. It is a fun experience.
Make sure you get there for the opening. You have to be there for the breakfast! All food and drink is included all day. So thats right, as much crisps, ice drinks, biscuits as much as you want all day! The breakfast is delicous with yogurts, fresh fruit, and danish pastries. You will love it.
Kraken is by far the best roller coaster in the world! Don't forget to wave to the people on the bridge before you go under it!
Walt Disney World - Yeah, busy, make sure you get to the parks for opening, and get fastpasses for Expedition Everest straight away. It's a new thriller, which means fastpasses will sell out quick, and long lines.
TOP TIP: Single - Rider lines go a lot faster. I reccomend them much.

It'll be an easy trip seeing as I live about 3 hours from it.
