Ahoy pirates!

After much anticipation and waiting, it was heavy on my heart to see that the submissions that some of our guild mates had made had not won the "Strike Yer Colors" Contest that dear old Disney had held for us recently. I know a lot of our members put effort in to making their emblems, so even though they did not come out on top I want to congratulate all of our hard workers out there for doing their best! Nice job, pirates!

Though, I am still a little upset about one minor thing - even though a lovely shark emblem will be added to the collection of emblems that the game holds for us, I do not feel it would be right wearing it around my sails because it was not a true-blood Victory Shark.

For those of you who did not know, I had "secretly" commissioned Co-Guildmaster and Photoshop-extraordinaire Lady Nayana to make a Victory Shark Emblem that would be a worthy representation of exactly what our guild stands for. She put countless hours of sweat, blood, and determination in making the emblem for us, and the end result truly was stunning! Of course, it did not make it's way on to the game...

...But that doesn't mean we can't wear it on our flags!

Thanks to a little magic at the hands of Mr. Ironhawk, we have been able to weave Nayana's emblem on to a golden sail much like that of the Victory Shark's, for all of our pirates to fly around the Caribbean!

I invite all of our members to take up these colors and show our appreciation not only for our guild pride, but for Nayana's work towards helping promote our guild! Even if we can't put it on our real sails, we can do it in spirit, savvy?

Hoist the colors high, mates!
