How About a REAL Boss Battle?

When I first heard about a certain boss battle, I thought you would have to go around to several of the bosses and kill them.

How about that? How about a contest whereby a list is made of all the bosses to be found in the game? Contestants must find and kill each one of the bosses on the list. This could be difficult since some of them can appear in various different places. The first character to track down all of them and dispose of them will receive some kind of an award. Maybe the first three will get win, place and show, and all who participate could get a participation award.

Categories could be solo and team.

How do we get proof? Take their word? Require screenshots? See if POTCO will set it up as an unofficial (or even official) quest?

This would be very hard if this quest talks about an invasion boss, or a flagship boss(do they still exist?). The quest could be 1 unknown boss. Depending on what boss you kill, the quest goes another route. If you kill 4 more unknown bosses, you should revieve a fame blunderbuss, that will later half to be used in the Final boss battle...


For example, if you go to an NPC that supports Navy, your quest will be looking at tne navy bosses... But this takes me to another discussion that I'll explain later...

Jorden, if and when POTCO decides to have Boss Hunts as a quest [or even as a Special Event], every Boss mention will exist in-game. I still have from Jackpot Josie a quest to kill Kegs for gold. Yeah I call her Jackpot Josie. It goes back to the old days when there was a bug that she and Banking Bart had in which any enemy was good enough to kill. Easy gold. Then someone told POTCO about it and it got fixed. idk who did, but my guild made off with a lot of gold while it lasted. It was one heck of a bargain! rofl

Anyway that Kegs quest has been difficult for my young pirate because the invasion was buggy. Sometimes those kegs showed up and sometimes they didn't, but most of the time, they didn't. They were also very difficult to kill off. Now they work. And I still have it because I plan to complete it when I have Unlimited Access again. So it's no problem for me. Granted, it still would be nice if they were located somewhere in the Caribbean. But they are meant only for those Invasions.

As for the contest idea, I'm not quite sure how that could be arranged. That one is a bit tricky to prove. I wouldn't see it as a contest though. I see it as some fun quest to accomplish using certain weapons only either as a team, or as a solo. That's what I was doing when I was mastering my grenades. I took screenshots of every Boss I could find. Will resume when I activate my card. lol
