Thumbs down Such an annoying bug!

All day I've been plundering and ships keep disappearing! Is this a lag effect or bug? Anyway, happy looting!

lol I'm not complaining. I got a Famed weapon for the second night in a row. Seems more profitable to be at sea than on land.

I've been trying to get some iron and oak to upgrade my two ships, so I've been crewing on materials runs on war brigs and war frigates. Unfortunately they all seem to be on the Abassa and Andaba servers.

While I am gunning on ships on these servers, the ships in my sights don't sail smoothly; they sit there for several seconds, then jerk forward at least a ship's length. I have to shoot in front of the ship and hope it will jerk forward before my shot land in the water.

In some cases the ships disappear altogether. They jerk forward several ship lengths, disappearing from my sight completely. I have to swing my cannon around through a broad arc to find them.

(Makes me feel the people who designed this game were a bunch of jerks.)

Even on land by myself I find those first two popular servers laggy.

Why most of the players - including some of you here - prefer these two servers I don't know. Other than the fact that there are lots of people and ships on them.

I find the quiet servers almost lag-free and much more useable and enjoyable. Yesterday I refused to crew aboard a friend's war frigate on a materials run because it was on the Abassa server. In the future I may start hopping from server to server looking for materials runs elsewhere, just to avoid those servers.

lol I usually sail Quiet to Ideal Oceans. What you describe is not that unusual. That happens when you are lagging in a Full server or in a high concentration of game battles in one area of the map. I saw those ships sailing unusually slow over the weekend and sent POTCO in-game feedback on their behalf. It was a distress call. Some Leprechaun is loose in their system making it way too easy for pirates to plunder the goods.

Some sort of small update happened. Ships sailed more normally. But they did get choppy at some point in the Monada Ocean just before Jolly invaded Padres last night. lol, my brother told me you were there in Eustabia or whatever it's called. What a blast that was.

Want to get ship materials now? You don't need a full crew. I should know. I like sinking those Hunters I activated all by myself. That's how I roll.
