This music didn't go away. It still exists in the game files.
However, only if the community would send in a lot of feedback to bring back this sailing_e.mp3 music back, the developers won't even consider implementing a random cycle batch code in the program to make this load during "High Seas". If I remember correctly, this music would start playing if no player was driving the ship, or even on the wheel. It would start playing the "standby" music for everyone on-board. Good times. Just need code to load it again from the developers to hear it again though, guys. |

The new sailing music is good and dramatic, but to be honest it is so strong that after a while I have to turn down the sound or take off the earphones. I agree: The old music for sailing around and the new would be great for combat.

I have not seen any credits for POTCO yet. I'm wondering who wrote the music. It's not half bad. (Of course, expect Disney Studios to employ the best.)
I have become composer-conscious since I became acquainted with a number of composers lately, particularly a very extraordinary young man who composes very sophisticated music for film and computer games, and is completely self-taught. I'm also wondering if any more of the current and past POTCO music is available for download. I wouldn't mind having some of it. Crimson Rose Last edited by Lilys; 01-27-2012 at 07:35 PM..
