Game News Update!

A few changes are on the horizon in the Caribbean - thanks to all the great feedback you continue to provide. Here is a sneak peek at some of the updates you'll be seeing in the game shortly:

Crew & Morale:


Crewing will be made easier due to added functionality in the Crew Panel. You'll also be able to let others on your server know you're looking for a crew, and receive a bigger bonus for crewing up.


Need to pick up your or your crew's morale? Soon Tonics will recharge faster. Are you or another crewman a bit groggy from a recent stay in jail? No need to worry - you'll be ready to join the fight a whole lot sooner, as we'll be shortening the groggy penalty.

In addition to these updates, we've also improved player communication, specifically, the whisper function. More details on this and other features (including brand-new Quests) coming soon!

Okay, tonics refresh faster. Means you can attack bigger baddies as long as the supply holds out and you aren't getting your butt kicked too hard.

Shorter groggy time. I can live with this. There've been a couple times I've just couldn't seem to stay alive to save my life. Get a 33rd level pirate killed off by a 20th level officer? Okay, I'll go sailing...and get killed off by an unhittable EITC galleon in my War Galleon. Woodruff's Tortugan Freebooters!

This'll allow me to go back out and get killed in style^H^H^H^continue levelling much easier as I won't be prey to every undead gravedigger on speed....

As to improved communication, we'll see.

New quests? Cool. Hopefully something that's a lead-in to a new boss battle?

I find using the "New Posts" feature lets me find all of the posts I want to read regardless of where they are posted.

Excellent point! My problem is although I may NOT be casual gamer as those that have read my rhetoric here already have likely figured out....
