With voodoo and danger lurking in every corner of the Caribbean, Friday the 13th can be a tricky time for Pirates...


While yer busy side-stepping ladders and black cats, you may also want to keep a weather eye out for run-ins with other strange occurrences around the islands, the likes of Jolly Roger's forces or even the Queen Anne's Revenge at sea.


Yer chances of runnin' afoul of any mishaps this Friday are high, so be wary, mates...

Of course we Pirates make our own luck, and behind every challenge also lies the chance for plunder!

They probably fixed other bugs, though. I'm hoping PvP was one of them...

I wonder if the POTCO team will even add anything that day, other than a tad more invasions and sightings of that QAR.

Just a guess, but maybe the Garb of the Undead outfit could be released tomorrow. It (sorta) fits the theme; and it'd be nice if they released it tomorrow rather than waiting until this Halloween.

I don't think this has anything to do with the maintenance - just saying that they have something planned for tomorrow, even if it is just more invasions.

The Release Notes from 2 days ago say that PvP Mayhem was fixed, it still not working? (haven't tried)

I hope they do, it's a possibility and would work well (it would fit the theme, seeing they have done Muertos Moon on Friday the 13th in the past).


I also looked ahead, and there is a Friday the 13th in April and in July.

Hmm, Does sinking the QAR, both ship and crew, all by yourself count as one of those mishaps?
