I got my name from:

1. Black Beard
2. Albus Dumbledore's long silver beard from Harry Potter.
3. Because I added them together.

Edit to my original post (the one WAYYY back on page one ) I decided to get he whole crew involved and made a Mary Read and Calico Jack. Wish I could play them all at once. Be funny to see them all lined up in a row

Of course you would need to have Jack between Anne and Mary and spam /cower. Poor guy was probably scared to death the whole time they were together.

Since my reply, my pirates have also changed a bunch. Eustace still remains, and will until he Masters. I will probably keep him after that as well, since he was the first. Renaud de Dammartin has been retired (bad build). Chang Poa's name was accepted and has also been retired (mis-clicked a point on Thrust). Thomas Tew is now my PvPer and he is coming along nicely. Naming after real-world pirates is entertaining, but I get tired of reiterating the story of who he was, for those who ask.

I got mine, Etheak Darkmoon, from when I started playing star wars galaxies when it first cam out about 4 years ago or so. I picked it from a name generator, thought it sounded cool, and now, every mmo i play I name one of them Etheak DArkmoon

my pirate name is what i use at ren festival where i get to dress and act like one several time ayear lol.

[Soul Patch The Fiesty]

I named mine Soul Patch The Fiesty, because lots of pirates were named after their facial hair. I thought it would be funny to be 'Soul Patch' and I added 'The Fiesty' because it seemed fun and adventurous. Plus having 'The Fiesty' sounds like a title, which awesome to add to the name.

And yes, my character does sport a bit of chin hair known as the 'soul patch'
or 'flavor saver'
