Test Release Notes - November 11, 2011

• Updates:
  • Fixed a crash when teleporting directly into an interior island area then exiting through a tunnel to the outer island.
  • Fixed other various crashes.
  • Fixed issue with landing in incorrect areas after teleporting to another Pirate who's gone through a tunnel.
  • Fixed issue with landing under island areas when teleporting to another Pirate who's just finished playing Cannon Defense.
  • Fixed issue with Pirates not being able to teleport to another Pirate who's recently played Cannon Defense.
  • Fixed bug where Basic Access Pirates could not board an Unlimited Access Pirate's public ship via the dinghy.
  • Pirates no longer get stuck after exiting out of Create-A-Pirate.
  • Founder Pirates gold status coins now displaying properly again.
  • On/Off Toggle now available for changing the sailing "Ship Look Ahead" camera view (in the Game Options menu - Interface tab).
  
  
  
• Known Issues:
  • Black Pearl Quest does not start properly.
  • Pirates get stuck after being defeated in PvP.
  • Pirates can swim under the map in certain island areas.
  • Pirates swinging back after a Flagship battle sometimes fall through their ship.

All these fixes over the past week have substantially shown POTCO's recent hard work tweaking the new updates to perfection so they can be released to live soon. Keep it up!

What disappoints me is they still haven't patched up "Fast Switch" or "Swift Foot I, II, III" potion glitches.

Come on, at least they should patch those two up before it goes live.

Glad to see that they're really working out the bugs in this update. Hopefully they'll fix up those last few problems and have it out on Live next week/week after.

Well, I think, although these glitches DO ultimately have to be removed, that they should first focus on fixing bugs that have been created by the new content, not pre-existent bugs.

They removed EITC and Navy stuff and made it match the girls... We would ALL be happier if they actually fixed the guys, and changed the girls to match the guys...

I'm basic access right now, so I had this issue. Whenever I tried boarding an UA ship from the dinghy, it didn't work. But, I found out that when this happened, not going to the loading screen caused me to become invincible. Sent 2 bug reports upon finding it.


I don't quite get the On/Off Toggle for " Ship Look Ahead " view, but I think I saw it on options.


I was also wondering if the player friend option not working on test servers was a bug.


I also agree with Rannulf and Davy... I bought the hat from Thee Diplomat cause it was a BLACK tricorne.
