Well, if you start out with level 15 basic, that means they HAVE to have had access, and maybe the will buy it again and some day max, if you get lower levels who like the game, they will buy access and level in the guild making not only high memeber, but High, UA members

You need to set up your guild so that you do things that pirates would find attractive. Usually pirates join a guild based on what it has to offer, both atmosphere wise, and event wise.

If you're looking to rake in members from the developing pirate market, then you should mainly focus on offering help to other pirates, as well as a multitude of events that could apply for them, such as plunder runs, raids on places like Fort Dundee or Kingshead, and so forth.

I have seen many Unlimited access pirates around the Caribbean with no guild. Many choose to be solo. But, a way of getting them interested might be to invite them to join in on guild events such as a "Scoudrel run" or something your guild enjoys together. If said pirates have a good time & like how your guild works together-they might ask to join. As stated previously, it's not the number of pirates in your guild-it's the quality and the interaction that attracts others. Our guild was formed on the basis that it doesn't matter if we have 3 members or 300 as long as we have fun together. This keeps the core of the guild loyal. Every guild has "Temporary" members. Some quit playing; some decide to go to another guild. It is all part of POTCO. Many return after long absences too, I might add.

andy you could try bringing the guild along requiting there are probably dozens of people asking high levels to join there guild. however if the guild comes along with you there is something distinguishing you from others doing the exact same thing. also going up to someone and asking "do you want to join my guild" will almost never work and if it does the person won't be in your guild for long as they left there old guild fairly easily. chose someone (or many people) carefully. crew them and see if they are a fit for your guild if they are talk to them about there guild and ask them to join yours without making it seam like you did all this to get them to join (which you shouldn't be you should be crewing people in this manner regularly without asking them to join). above all don't ask for people from guilds like PNC or Shadow Sorcerers as they will most likely not leave and you know the gm and they have tried to help you with your guild can you honestly say it is right to requite actively from there ranks. good night and good luck

I'm flattered that we're held in such a high status, but there's a lot of our members that have helped others start guilds. I myself have put younger pirates of mine into guilds when someone has asked me, though they won't always be the most active of pirates. The small, unknown guilds run the Caribbean though. Just a matter of dedication.

eh more importantly if a guild is having trouble requiting high level pirates it most likely can't compete with more established guilds very well. also whale I'm offering advice avoid people in guilds that seam off. they tend not be diamonds in the rough but simply more rough.

Well, it's not the level, but the quality. If you have one honest, loyal, great pirate to your guild, it doesn't matter if he/she's a lvl 15. It's better than 100 lv 50s who disrespect you, aren't on and when they are they cause drama and spam the guild chat. Hope this helps!
-Hector
