Question How Do You Get High Levels To Join Your Guild?

For example, one of my friends leads the guild 'Ultimate Sorcerer' they have only 20 more people then mine, yet they are mostly unlimited acess and high level. Yet I have mostly levl 5-10s that fall somewhat inactive after a while. Any tips?

Well.....I wouldn't suggest standing around just asking pirates you don't know "Want to join my Guild?". You should mingle on public ships and get some conversation going. In most cases pirates like to know you a bit before joining your guild. Keep in mind, just because they are a high level doesn't mean they are happy with the guild they are in. They might have a small guild and be willing to merge with yours.

How long has their guild been going compared to yours? Cause they might have recruited over a longer period of time and recruited more high levels.

Mastered pirates flock to guilds depending on what kind of person they are. Many high leveled pirates at that stage in the game find it entertaining to play the game with pirates that share the same interests as they, hence you see why some guilds that focus on privateering, PvP, role-play, and so forth are often flocked with Level 50's.

It may also be the case that your friend's guild is closed off to high level pirates only, perhaps as an attempt to keep the atmosphere free from lower level pirates who may constantly need help, or not be able to partake in guild events that you are capable of.

And then on the other hand, you may just have those pirates come your way for the sake of having fun. PNC is home to over twenty mastered pirates (which is 1/10th of the guild) and we don't "aim" to recruit them. Whether they've leveled in the guild with us, or simply came to us because they wanted a guild with our personality, is up to them.

Each and every player has their own different view of the game and personality, regardless of level. See it as your initiative to make your guild as attractive to as many pirates as possible - and who knows? As pirates flock to you you may end up with a few high levels in there

Almost forgot to mention .....many of us have more than 1 high level pirate. In some cases the other pirates belong to other guilds or don't have a guild at all (speaking from experience). So there's a good chance someone will join with one of their alternate pirates. I use my first pirate the most.....and the other 3 (level 35+) don't see too much action at the moment.

Thanks guys, the only reason I want high levels is because they are almost always somewhat invested in the game, for example a UA level 50 is probably going to be more active then a basic level one, activity levels is the only reason.

Not necessarily .....keep in mind..the lower levels play often to level up. Some of the mastered pirates may not play as much as they can't get any reps. Leave your options open.....a level could hit 20 in a very short time frame. Everyone plays for different reasons. It all depends on the pirate.......

It is actually a very good idea to recruit lower level pirates, and then work with them in the game, so that they level up while they're in your guild. A lot of the level 15's I guilded a year or two ago are now some of my level 50 Veterans and Officers.

Yea, See, I had mostly recruited basic level 2s and 5s, so level 15s are something I would take in a heartbeat.

Well, remember - never recruit for the sake of recruiting. You should want to have a guild of 20 active, quality pirates rather than a guild of 500 inactive, immature pirates.

Reminds me of the guild I made before the Sorcerors... I was still learning the strings...

Andy, I really do not care to much for levels. The Sorcerors probably don't have too many mastered pirates, surely no more than ten, but we don't really care, and we make up for it in quality. What I also notice is that there are a lot of cases where people will grow up in your guild. I know of a few people who were in their twenties when I invited them, but they are now in their forties. From my experience, the majority of higher level players are either tied to the guild they are in, or guild hoppers (such as Abassans), which is why if you recruit, you tend to not get too many players in their forties or up. The reason being because again: They grew up in the guild.

Andy, don't shoot for going for just high levels. Honestly, I know loads of players in my guild that aren't even level forty, but they're wonderful people, and I would choose them over any mastered pirate. Although if you really want high level players, shoot for getting players that are of a medium level, and make them really like your guild so that they stay and level over time.

Aye, I joined PnC on my mastered pirate and on my level 30 something. Now that pirate is a 46 on his way to mastering. If the guild has been around for a while, the members might not have joined at 50 and they leveled up to that instead.

EDIT: I have a sceen with Jack as a level 27 in PnC so probably in my 10-20's

Although I did join PnC on my mastered pirate in August

Aye. In March of last year, I joined PNC as a level 32. I mastered with them.

I think that it's all left to chance, if a group of good high level friends join or create one they will add on of about the same type of pirates, then seeing many high levels on a guild will have a snow-balling effect a small like minded group can have great influence over the success or demise of the guild...

Thanks guys, I see now that level doesn't make too much difference. Now the question is how do I get Unlimited Acess to join.
