Is Leadership worth doing the Black Pearl Quest

I am wondering, should i spend all my time when i'm online, working on Black Pearl for leadership? I do SvS, a lot, and would it make me better?

It's a long quest.....however IMO I think it is worth it. I do believe it makes a difference when used. There have been times after updates where it has seemed less/more effective. But overall I would suggest it. Besides, having that little fancy icon in the bottom right hand corner makes a Pirate feel all warm and fuzzy inside....sort of like after having a swig of Grog......

I think you should get a much bigger reward for finishing it, at least more than one skill.
But I think everyone should do the quest. I gives ALOT or rep and you unlock the black pearl boss battle!

If you do SvS a lot, then definitely work on Black Pearl story quest and finish it.

It has been proven useful with ship tactics like "Open Fire" or "Take Down" in "Last second" situations that will allow your ship to not sink, because of the enhanced cooldown recharge ability from "Leadership" skill.

However, in the past updates, the "Leadership" skill aura it emits can really lag up the game screen if you're playing on Medium (I think) or High settings (Definitely sure about "High" graphic settings).

If you play "Low" settings, you should be fine and you'll be happy that you did finish the black pearl quest for "Leadership" skill for use in SvS.

Leadership is not worth having at all and it will not help you at all. Leadership is specifically supposed to help your skill recharge faster so you have them in emergency situations quicker than normal. However, like i have posted in other threads and there is a video online:
Leadership Fail - If a player uses Leadership to make their skills recharge faster then the sailing skills: full sail, ramming speed, take cover etc. will FAIL if used directly after they recharge. This means Leadership does not work correctly and will also make other skills not work.

In my opinion it does more harm than good and it's currently nothing more than just a bug that needs to be fixed.(it has been bugged for at least the past 2 years)

In SvS, it's a great skill in theory but it should not be used because IT WILL MAKE YOUR SKILLS FIZZLE and that will get you really frustrated.

Well Leadership might not be the best skill, but you should definitely complete the Black Pearl Boss Battle, since that is what this game is centered around.

The black pearl boss battle is worth completing for the rep and the boss battle itself.
Like what Leo said, it really isn't worth doing the BP just for the leadership.
The lag could cause you to sink in SvS, and really doesn't work too well.

Today i finished Black PeARL. I finished with a McRaging mate, Raven, and James Sunsteel.




I went and played SvS, and i was stuck in a sticky situation and used Leadership, and i got away harmed, but not sunk. Leadership helped.
