Y'know, I've always had the best luck when I'm not looking for a famed.
I find that if I purely go to Darkhart to work on say, grenades with no thoughts of a famed, I usually get one after about a half hour to an hour. I've looted famed out of skulls, chests, and pouches, so don't be thinking "oh, it's a pouch, it's gold and a crummy weapon, I'm not even going to bother." I've looted famed off of Darkhart, some enemies in Tormenta (I think they were Brinescums...) and the four raiders right in front of Bonerattler(?) in the Catacombs. I think I've even looted a few fairly nice rare ones off of Gravediggers in the PR graveyard... but anyways. My point is, try not looking for them. Have fun playing and don't play purely for the weapons, work staff or something, and who knows? You might someday be the owner of El Patron's and 20 famed weapons. |

Story time!
It was nearing the end of December. I had camped out at Foulberto Smasho for hours at a time, without getting the Silver Freeze I wanted so badly... I gave up. I decided that I would go back, just so I could get Vipers Den Knives and complete my collection of famed knives. First loot drop. Nothing. Second loot drop, BANG, Silver Freeze! I wasn't looking for it, and I found it. Catherine is right. If you look for something, you don't find it. When you look for something else or for nothing at all, thats when you find it. It sounds cheesy, but it always seems to work.... |

I've been waiting for the Red Words, Lost Sword Of El Patron to show up in a skull.
In that time (I've been here since febuary 2010), I have received the World Eater Blade, Silver freeze and 70+ famed on 1 pirate. 3 famed on the other, a level 33, I might add. Also in that time my sister has received 2 lost swords and no other legendaries, Maybe 30-40 famed. |

What i do is go to Ravens cove or Isla Tormenta and just go to the place where theres high levels but its all about when u go on to the server because i got a famed right when i swiched servers. If u want a famed or legendary its all about your luck and your best weapon plus where u are at the right time! Go to a server were u and 3 friends can just loot and the right server like ideal but mostly quiet.

I been playing this game since Jan 2008 and I have 2 Legendaries lost sword and Silver freeze daggers and 28 famed from the dark Mutineer,blight fang edge,Seven sea cutlass,Doll of sacred Rituals and etc. and every rare that ever been released in game. Sorry say with limited inventory system more than half those weapons are in the trash. But I have found that sever run in cycle that busy severs do more drops in hour than a quite server now i get six rare hour and 1 or 2 famed. But have found that if i am on sever that drop are slow 1 Sculley every 20 kills then i will jump to another busy server same location the drop will be every seven kills will be Sculley and that sever will stay at cycle unless someone will come in and mess up cycle. OK let me explain three people at Raven in mine with four ghost where all using sword and we been there 45 min's on great a cycle where getting Sculley every 5 kills loot bag and chest and it continue that way but someone will come in start throwing grenades or different weapon than where using it stops cycle every time and we start getting nothing. But reverse effect happen when there a group say at DH there all using sword and daggers and nothing dropping but a few loot bags and then another person will come up to that group and use a weapon that there not using boom there Sculley and cycle get good. Like they said above there a lot variables, a lot of luck and timing . i play a lot i kill about 1600 to 2200 enemys a day what i explain above i ve seen repeat it over and over. i always keep my inventory clear of all crude and commons i have told a lot people that don't every get famed to keep inventory cleared common and crude everyone of them started getting more rare and famed. Sorry for novel but thought this might help few of you and i got my lost sword at DH but it was from skeleton on his right side bye fence and silver freeze is easiest legendary out of bunch at foul because i have got that 3 time there go when it real ly busy on abassa sever there will be tons lag and use sword damage foul a lot you will get silver freeze . I hope this help's this works for me several other people that have more weapons than i do Keep plundering hard work plays off.

Are you guys serious?i havent gotten anything! all i get from dark hart is gold and junk! ive been in the thrall room and the bridge on tormenta for days! DAYS... its driving me insane im not getting anything! nothing! any tips?

Actually you can find an el patron at any level at any time. You could just be starting the game, after you do what you need to do and really go free and try and kill some skeletons over in the grave yard. Lvl 1 skeletons while you're level 1, you can kill one of them on your first ever kill and get an el patron. Though you cant use it. It can be completly random.

People have told me that enemies spawn with what ever loot they are going to give you.
THIS IS FALSE!!!! The loot is completely RANDOM. I spend the entire day in 1 place on 1 server. I have 17 famed (1 repeat) and ive only had this pirate for a month. The best thing to do is find a server that is dropping skulls every 10-15 kills and camp there. |
