Post An idea to get more players online

Heres an idea Disney to get more paying players of Pirates of the Caribbean online Disney..... BRING THE PAY CARDS TO EUROPE!!! Weve heard nothing of the game over here in europe in any gameing magazines or even the disney website. It was by mear luck and my die hard fandom to Pirates of the Caribbean that I managed to find out about this game.

What do you all think? Cause if they did I would gladly go from a linited to an unlimited member in a heart beat and im beating a lot of europeon fans would do the same

Well is Europe in the pirate mood? If they are, Big D will have to spend time to get the websites translated and servers for the countries in Europe. They could copy Club Penguins idea to get a understanding.

Just purchase a pre-paid Visa card and use it on the website. Just activate it for online use first, and bam ye in business!

That brings access to 1 billion people to POTCO, instead of the ~307,000,000 who have access to it now. Great idea!

Brilliant! I can't wait to see the massive launguage gaps we'll have to overcome with only about 40% of the European population knowing English!

They could make something where it translates non-English... Of course, it would have to work both ways for the people who don't speak English.

I think they should market the game in more places
I like finding players from other countries & have no trouble taking the time to chat with them
It isn't that difficult to search for a translator

the draw back?
my Russian friend laughs when my translator doesn't work right
is that so bad?
nope, actually it's really funny xD

as far as flooding the current minimal ocean count POTCO has now
I wouldn't worry about it, Europe is quite a few hours ahead of most of the current players
I'm sure there would be plenty of loot left when we wake up

eh, just my on the subject

good idea

i think its a good idea i live in england and i know a lot of people who like the pirates of the carribean movies and with the right advertising a lot more people would play it and i would get a game card and i think a lot of others would too
and about the overpopulation on servers as im in england which is as near to america as it gets in europe and i have to be up at least at about eight or nine for any decent amount of players to come on (ive even seen abassa on quiet) the only problem is the language which is an easy problem anywhere you go in europe everyone seems to speak english anywayat least its worked on holiday they might not want to do that online but you could understand them

but i still think its a good idea

My friend on Pirates lives in a country where Unlimited Access is unavailable, so he emailed Disney about it and now they sometimes give him codes for Unlimited Access as an apology. He is now a seasoned level 40, and he's never paid up.

First, I dont know why people think there would be a language gap. I was a foreign exchange student 16 yrs ago to Germany. Did it because I was great at the language in high school and wanted to improve it. I did not improve it because they were so well versed in "our" language that their English was better than some Americans I know. The school I visited, students took 3 foreign languages, English and two of there choice (my student took French and Russian)

Second, I would love to have some international players on. Being a stay home dad, I get bored trying to level and loot by myself during the day (day for me that is). I go in and out of the game all day and I think there are maybe 5 ideal servers until about 3 PM EST.

I think that they should go into advertising a little. I mean we only have X amount of real life friends we can advertise to i'm sure theres many others that may have an interest. That being said. Tell your friends to tell their friends to tell theirs and help spread the word.
