Server Names

I've been curious lately about the names of our servers. Anyone know where they have come from? Are they names of people, places, something in another language, or just random things that POTCO staff made up off the top of their heads? I'm sorta puzzled as to how they came up with them. I personally believe that they are either names of people (although those would be some strange names...) or they are some words in other languages. What do you think?

I did some research and found something. Well several things. Lots of them are names of a certain origin like French or Afghan. (Desereau, Esquira, Andaba, Vachira, et cetera) Some of them are names of mid 1700 objects. Like the guinea is a currency from Britain. And a lot of the servers have to do with water. Like an old server named Guyago, I found out, is a type of Bayou. Very interesting stuff. I don't think Disney pulled these names out of nowhere. I actually believe they worked hard to research the names for them.

I really hoped this helped, Davy.

Abassa was actually the name of an Arabian noblewoman, daughter to the third Abbasid caliph. It was also once a common name among the people of Arabia - an example is an extremely old Islamic monument dedicated to "Abassa Bint Juraji," dated 71 AD.

Ahhh, Arabian is another. Sorry only named Arabic and French. But yes Del is right. Wow I didn't realize how much depth these servers had.

Actually, i think its spelled different in Arabic, but whatever.

I think this is their way of showing that they put a ton of effort into the game.

Okay so I looked up Kokojillo- and I must say I have no clue. It sounds Spanish. Jillo is probably "eeho" sounding. I looked it up with no response, then even Cha-Cha'd it and they came back with a "sorry didn't understand your question" type of message. Sorry puppy.

Isn't Kokojillo a Native American Tribe? I always remember going to a little store in a neighboring town and seeing these little rocks with these carvings in them with a guy with wackie hair and a pipe of some sort. Not sure, but I think its something along those lines.
