Ok so I am a "newbie" but here are my questions.

1. With treasure, can you sell it for more gold? I have treasure and need gold.
2. Whats the easiest way to get more gold. I am tired of not being able to buy things
3. Because I play on a free acct. does that mean I can't buy clothes or is it just because I don't have enough gold.

I hope someone can help me. Thanks

You can't sell the treasure you collect. It's just a collection.

The best way to earn gold is by plunderin the seas.

And from what I understand, the clothes, tattoos, jewelry, etc is for unlimited players only.

I agree that the quickest way to earn gold is plundering the seas, but I would add a tip. Bartholomew Watkins (guy crouched behind a barrell in Port Royal) gives out quests for items plundered from ships. So if you are looking for gold on the seas, you might as well pick up the extra gold on Bartholomew's quest for what you are already doing anyway. Yep. All yr answers have beeen answered. Mini quests are located around PR and tortoga. Just look for the light up lantern above peoples heads.

The best way to make gold is to play poker on PDF with a friend. There is, what I consider, a bug where the computer will not fold if 2 players are playing at the table. With three, or by yourself they will but with 2 they wont. It's terribly easy to tell when you've got the winning hand. Have you and your buddy check the pot until the river card is drawn. If the computer raises once within that period there's a good chance they're bluffing, if they raise you multiple times, they've most likely got a hand. You can also tell if someone lands a good hand by watching the cpu, if they fist pump bail out. Anyway, assuming you or your buddy have the best hand (even a high pair can win although risky to go all in with it) you can both keep raising the pot while the computer will stay in with you. Every cycle around the table you make 240g just off the computer and your buddies money can simply be looked at as a transfer. It takes about 20 minutes to get 65k gold.

This is lame but I've submitted it to PotCO among other bugs probably 20 times and they don't seem to care. So have at it while it exists. All of my characters sit at about 60k from lvl 5 on.

*Note that this "bug" can be done on any hold'em table not just PDF, PDF just has the highest blinds thus you can raise the pot much faster. If you're broke you may want to increase your funds at Port Royal or Tortuga before heading to PDF. 500g is more than enough to head to PDF with though.

**This cannot be done with limited access since you aren't allowed to play hold'em.
