What Weapons to use?

This guide is for anyone who has trouble deciding what weapon to use and when. Feel free to post your own suggestions!


Blunderbuss: Short range, and slow reload, BIG boom. its best to fire one huge blast, then move in with your sword and take them out., becuase they should be heavily damaged by your scatter shot. Useful in invasions becuase there are a lot of strong skeletons heading your way. Also, when you know your about to die you could save your self by bring out your blunderbuss, and firing your strongest shot. may just save you a trip to jail.

Pistol: Single, double, or triple shot medium range firearm. Weakest of all guns, but its the best against melee enemies becuase of there rate of fire, so you can bring them down quickly or at least deal a lot of DMG in the shortest amount of time. Great for leveling and on raids.

Musket/bayonet. Long range, okay rate of fire, and when you equip a bayonet it becomes a melee weapon, so you may level it on a navy. You should use it when you spy an enemy from far away, and you can either attract them or, if you need to level fire as much bullets as you can at them before you can get close. not a good idea in bunched up caves, like the catacombs. In an invasion, you could stand away from the general melee fighting and fire on the skeletons. The pirate sin the front using sword would make it so they don't come after you, and in return you hep them by unloading on the baddies.


Cutlass: Melee weapon, medium attack speed. Easy to level, great for raiding. It could easily take an enemy down in a short amount of time. Its a good idea to only take on 2-3 people on at a time with it.

Sabre: Melee, High attack speed. great for PVP, gets you lots of rep. It's a good idea to use it if you don't spend a lot of skill points of skills that give you more health. I know your going huh? right now. but what most people don't know is that ANY attack will stun the enemy for a second. best to try this on jolly, whenever u shoot slice or burn him he throws up his arms, and puts one food back ward like he got punched. With a sabre. you will be stunning them so much with your fast attacks that they won't be able to attack much.
