Undead Gypsys are your friends

I was on Cutthroat Isle leveling up my pistol; I just bought hex eater and a tri-barrel. I'd shoot a gypsy 2-3 times until there were no blue numbers then move up and either toss grenades or use my dagger. Great way to level up; once they're out of voodoo they just stand there and let you chop them down.

It does stink when they respawn as a level 27 raider though....

thats why you go to the end of cutthroat beach, there are two gypsy spawn points, that they share with grenadiers, without other nearby enemies (save for either a witchdoctor or a weak undead brigand (but theyre only good for the occasional life drain if ya need it)

since you can earn 100 rep for weapon, even gyps can pay off big time if you milk them right and cycle your weapon skills as they recharge.

LOL, I love it, thanks for the great tip. Wish I had realized that yest. and I would have levelled my dagger too... Do the gyps regenerate voodoo after a bit, or once it's gone it's gone and I have basically an unlimited time to off them? You guys rock...

I haven't been fried by them once I've hit them with a few hex shots. I was using htis a bit to upgrade my dagger/pistol/sword this morning and will work on it more later. I'd like to get lv 20 on all my weapons before continuing my BP quest.

Grenades work this way too. Just shoot them to get rid of their voodoo then toss grenades at them until they die.

This is a well known and often exploited fact of the game.

Yes, they do regenerate after a bit. On Padres I had a grenadier stick what would be his nose if he had a face onto the mix and while dealing with him my gypsy started poking/swarming me. The regen is slow and one more hex eater shot took care of it until I could finish with him.
