The day and servers that time forgot
I got two questions to ask, first of all,
Yesterday, My guild and I had a huge spending party to celebrate Val Vicous reaching 36, we all bought the new hat and pants and I leveled my Grenade twice(I really hate doing that). When I loggged on, I didn't have my hat and my Grenade was back down two levels. Val Vicious was back at level 35. Did Pirates just decide to say yesterday never happened? Second, What happenned to the servers? Camaros was wiped off the map. Anybody else had these bugs? |

My brother actually went on this morning and was in the same clothes and everything as yesterday, after he changed. I think that POTCO did a reset to try and fix this bug... looks like it didn't work, as he was still level 0.
As for the servers, thats not a bug. They purposely took away servers, for whatever reason they had. |

yea, my lowest pirate was leveling sailing to 23 last day, when log today it back to 21..

Dude, I had that happen to me! My Valentine cloths were gone that I bought yesterday and all my rep was gone that I got from yesterday and then it said I had to restart the Valentine's Day Quest!

Sometimes to fix bugs and glitches POTCO rolls back the servers to a time before the problems started to try and fix it. So anything done or aquired during that time is lost.

Dont worry. They will reset and you will have the progress you earned back!

If they want to get real results they should reset it back a month... yes there will be alot of mad people but the game will be fixed, and im pretty sure thats more inportant then lv's and servers... well it is at the moment cuz we cant even log on.

^ONLY, and I mean ONLY should they do that if there is no other solution. That would be only if they can't fix this. They should eliminate any other methods of trying to fix it before resorting to something that extreme. I seriously hope that they don't do that, because that will, as you said, anger a lot players. No, not anger. Enrage.

I'm just hoping the time we lost because of all these shutdowns, they will reimburse on our accounts.

I honestly think that if they are just down for one or two days, they won't reimburse. If it is longer than that, they probably should. Should, not will. Although you could give them an angry phone call if they don't, because that wouldn't exactly be... fair, for lack of a better word.

![]() Well, last month they had Mac users not able to log in. They said they would not adjust for time lost. Friendly but persistant calls to them DO work. I got the Mac users credit for the time they were not able to log on. Today I tried to discuss this with them on live chat, that was like a brick wall. They said it was a regular maintenance shut down. I insited it was not and requested to talk to a supervisor. Still like hitting a brick wall. So I called them, and reminded them that a LOT of players are going to get frustrated and leave the game for other games such as WOW if things are not fixed or if they are not comped for lost playing time. I was assured that once they are finally able to fix it, I would get a personal e-mail explaining what the problem was and possibly comped for time lost. I suggest everyone call them, and remind them that players will leave the game if they feel they are being ignored or not catered to with respect and appreciation of their membership... i.e. the pocketbook speaks loudly folks. They need us as much as we need the game :O) Cheers mates.. hopefully they fix it soon! |
