Friend list limit - Pirates of the Caribbean Online Fansite & Forums

I looked at my friend list and its getting full. I currently have 35 people in my friends list. I was wandering what the limit was.

Next time I get a full list, I'll let you know. I clear my list often, so that might be a while.

Ok, since I posted that, Ive gained five more friends. And they all ask me. I guess Im a likable person

If your worried about it getting full just add people you actually like, lol. As for me, I only add people thats helped me in some way and actually talks to me. If someone asks, I accept but after a while they don't talk to me or anything I clear them because I don't understand the point in adding me if your not going to talk? I just don't understand. Maybe thats harsh lol but it's just my opinion.

I would like to know though, the limit - just in case I ever get close. I wouldn't want to delete anybody! I know I'm not close to 30 though!

The website says 300 is the limit, but I keep reaching my limit and I can't be anywhere near that. I guess I could count it and see. So, tentatively...300.

No where near close to 300, (maybe with guild included) probably closer to 50. My list got full not too long ago and I had to do a cull. Anyone I didn't know and hadn't spoken to in a month went away...except for my "best" first really good friend. He hasn't been on in a long time, but he won't go anywhere...

I don't know what the limit is either and I know I'm not even close. First I had a few guild mates because the Guild go to didn't function. Well I still have some but I've stopped adding them since that was fixed. I'll add anyone that asks if we've worked together in some capacity.

However.... The first time they jump on a ship without asking, especially if we haven't spent time together, or spoken, since that initial friending I remove them. If they come to me and they are a really low lvl and I'm on Padres Beach or something and they get upset that they keep dying, I may remove them. Of course if we never speak or play together again after a few weeks I remove them.

May sound harsh but I have had way to many bad experiences with uninvited "friends" ruining one experience or another. I never go to anyone on any list of mine without asking first. It's a common courtesy that I believe should be followed by all.

I agree! It's really annoying when your trying to do quest and you have people coming to you all the time wanting to do something else.

At least you get someone who talks to you! O_o

This 1 friend which I shall delete soon today... his name isn't accepted so its pirate... BUT when I try to talk to him... he says nothing! nadda, zilch -_-

So I want friend who will talk to me online instead of randomly teleport to me and then run away from me... O_o

One thing that annoys me is when u dock on port or tortoga, and your standing there talkin to your crew.....you get friends requests from numerous people who you dont know and have never seen before. It gets a bit ridiculous. To top it off, they get mad when u deny them!!!

yes i hate when this happens >_< they ask to be my friend randomly i say no and they start yelling at me like ive known them forever and i wont accept their friend request.

on topic: i heard on of me friends say 50 is the max for now that is a good max but i think in the future as the game grows they need to expand it

His account might be preventing him from talking to anyone. There's a "Parental Controls" option that prevents you from talking or from seeing what other people are saying. I accidentally had this set for a day, it wasn't fun.

The only way to communicate with those users is with the game's SpeedChat, which no one seems to use.
