Boss Battle on limited access?

hi all, this is my first post so be gentle with me :-)

i have a friend who is currently unlimited, but plans on canceling before her month is up. she's level 26 at the moment, obviously all of her skills will be lowered. but will this take away her ability to complete the boss battle? she's worked really hard for this, just doesn't have the money to be spending $10 on a game a month.

so really my question just is, is the boss battle available for limited access when it becomes available?

I believe they haven't added the boss battle on the regular server yet. However, they do have the boss battle up on the test server.

sorry, i should have been a little bit more clear. we're both aware it's not available yet, which is part of the reason why she's canceling her unlimited access. when it becomes available is what i meant. sorry for the confusion!

I think it should be open to everyone, but I'm not too sure. Maybe tell your friend to contact them and ask?

If she cancels her unlimited, she will become a basic member. When that happens, all items not accessible to basic members will become locked. So, since basic members cannot advance in quests far enough to get to boss battle, I really doubt she will be able to complete it

thanks for the info i wasn't sure how far limited access was able to advance in the story.

The only execption to not being able to complete it is if your friend goes to someone else who is doing the battle also. It may not give the credit since she will no longer be unlimitied, but you never know till you try. On test we did the boss and everyone on board that needed to complete it got credit for it.

Most likely she will NOT be able to do the Boss Battle. Her stats wont be lowered... just the skills past level 7 on a weapon will not be able to be used. You can only go to 99% on James Pidgley which is... like 14% on the overall status of The Black Pearl quest.
