Anyone still having log in problems? - Pirates of the Caribbean Online Fansite & Forums

I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game thinking maybe I had a bad file or something. I still can't get it to log in. (open that is. test is fine) When I try to log in even that "screen" is weird. I get the normal log in screen but then it goes to a large font type screen (window mode) and tells me server is busy. Never had a problem before. Ideas?

Fixed my lag, got a new computer. No lag, highest graphics settings. Think they need to up the minimum requirements or even add a strongly recommended ones.

I don't mean to hijack a thread, but I just need a quick answer to a log-in question and didn't want to make a whole new thread.

Okay, so...every time I exit Pirates (not just log out, but close the game), the log-in screen always pops back up. I was wondering if there was a way to turn this off, because when the screen comes back up it takes FOREVER to load and drastically slows down my computer.

No there is not a way to get rid of that screen.

It isn't my computer. Everything was working fine until 2 days ago. My computer is pretty darn new (less than 6 months) and a good one. Nothing else is having problems including POC test. I sent a bug report but so far no reply. I'd like to get on open and get my free goofy looking hat before the offer is gone but doesn't look like I'll be able to.

Hello, I'm new here.
I need some help because yesterday when I clicked on the game's icon in my hard drive to open the game, it did the initial loading bar screen and then that went away and nothing else happened. Then the game's icon completely vanished! I can't find it anywhere! I've searched my mac completely and I'm pretty sure it's gone.

Do I just download the game again from the mac site like I did in the first place? Does that mean that I'll lose my account and have to start at level one again?
If anyone knows what to do then I'd be v. gratefull!!

If it is COMPLETELY gone, (I don't know much about macs) make sure you uninstall first, then reinstall so you don't wind up with a corrupted file or something. I am still wrestling with an IE error that boots me every time I try to get on a ship....grrrrrrr.

Thanks for your help! I'm going to try that now. I don't know much about macs either because mines relatively new. The game can't have just disappeared so I guess I'm probably not looking for it in the right place!!

Do you think that means that i will have to start level 1 again?! I'm worried that I've lost my pirate and I will have to spend all that time doing those quests to gt back to my level 10 (200 points off 11!)
