Mass Effect 3
Alright, all we have is a teaser trailer for this game and I'm really excited. Hope they make this game as good as the first, but please don't let there be another planet mining minigame.

How was Mass Effect 2? I had a couple friends who really liked it but I never played. I did see them do the planet mining thing though.... very boring.

Mass Effect 2 was fun but it didn't deserve the best RPG award that it won at the VGA's. The game was hardly an RPG, more like an Action Adventure game. I didn't bother with the DLC, because Mass Effect 1's DLC was dissapointing.

Oh, it had RPG Elements, don't get that wrong. But no game can be based on role-playing alone. There has to be an add-on. ME's is action.
SPOILERS BELOW! The trailer certainly makes me question what's up next for the series. From what I can see, Shepard's going to have to find some allies to help him save Earth. He won't be able to fight the Reapers with just a ship and some Assault Rifles. He'll go back to all his former aquaitences, i.e. The Flotilla of the Quarians, Liara and her new found information obtained from the Shadow Broker, C-Sec, and perhaps some Salarian STG's and Asari Commandos. The DLC in ME 2 also serves another reason, it's the story that happens between ME 2 amd ME3. Plus, those new weapons, new team members and new armor are always welcome. And I'm still trying to decide which element mining was more complicated... the roaming in the middle of nowhere in ME or the pointless probing in ME2. P.S. I feel sorry for the people who romanced Ashley in ME and then moved on to another in ME2. That won't be pretty. |

Only afraid that Miranda is still on Cerberus's side. Bugs planted in your quarters? Might want to be careful what you say....
I chose Tali in ME2, for she had the most believable story. Sent on a pilgrimmage, finds Shepard, serves Shepard, leaves Shepard, thinks about Shepard, re-joins Shepard's crew, Shepard saves her from exile (if that's what you picked), and poof.. automatic romance. And shooting Ash out the airlock? HA! She would shoot up half the Normany and leave a parting gift, a bomb, in Shepard's quarters. |

Bump!
Anybody recieve, or read, the new Game Informer? Front Page completely dedicated to ME3. And the inside story? I'm completely pumped! And of course, they offer a picture of Ash, and her new look. Makes me regret... Read up on it to see some of the confirmed characters. And what the storyline is leaning to. Or, ask me for some info in a PM. Would rather not divulge any spoilers here. Also, they are attempting to input some sort of multiplayer, possibly. If so, I might faint. |

However, if you haven't already bought it, Mass Effect 2 is available for PS3 as well. It allows you to start your choices in ME2, and carry it along to ME3. |
