The Lost pages from the Journal of $.$ Swash
Alright this is from my blog on the forums in case you never saw, so I'm going to start and post the original chapters, with some editing from now until Sunday. On next Monday I will start weekly writing a new chapter for all to see. *And the peasants rejoiced*
Page 1 ( Btw, instead of Chapters in this story I'm using Pages ) Today the new Currency was printed today for the Empire. I called it Jack money, after our celebrated Colonel Jack Sharkbane who recently beat the British Royal Navy in the Battle of Tortuga. Being outnumbered 3 to 1 his only order was "HOLD THE LINE" and his men fought bravely under impossible odds and the enemy suffered total defeat. The bill is being printed and will go in effect on July 23rd, 1773. Colonel Sharkbane is currently on Shore leave, but will return to his duties by the end of the month. So how'd ya like it guys? Comment and post and there will be a special reward for poster Number 14! ( Not really, but won't you feel really special for being the 14th person to comment on my story! ) |

Still trying to figure out what the Empire is....
The journal is a nice idea. They always provide a good point of view, for it's from the mind of somebody, not just a detailed account. And we aren't peasants! |

Today I think was the Swashpires darkest hour. The major port, Kingshead, was attacked by the EITC allied with the Royal Navy. Many great lives were lost like my Right hand man Colonel Sharkbane who was killed by Delmaria Darkskull who was the fierce leader of a notorious gang of privateers. The port is now under control of the Navy, but I intend to take it back as soon as the supplies are loaded. Next time Kinshead will not be taken so easily. Page 3 Today, the fifth fleet entered new waters while on the way to kingshead. Since he rightfully discovered it I gave the task to the Admiral of naming the sea. He calls it "The Blood Sea". He says there was many dark ships lurking about those waters, so I'll have to send out the Seventh fleet with him just in case fighting starts to break out. Page 4 Today at the Second battle of Kingshead my replacement for Colonel Sharkbane, Major Buckler was killed by an elite group of Navy soldiers known as "The Red Guard". Although they were all dealt with, I feel the Navy has started to try and tighten it's grip on my Carribean. They will all fail. Alright that's 3 pages to supplement you until tomorrow when I re-write 1 or 2 more.
