Pistol Help?

Hi, ever since I got voodoo Ive been training it but now that is lvl 19 I figure i should level up my other weapons. I chose my pistol first and have been leveling on padres in the lava place. But the skeletons there are giving less exp. so, I was wondering if anyone had any tips on where/how to level my pistol? its level eight (lol). Thanks!

Well, the best way to level pistol is to hold the Skill Points. Do not use them yet, at least not on Skills which do damage.

More Damage = Less Rep.

Also, you can use your Skill Points to unlock more ammo, but not to upgrade them yet.

More Skills = More Rep.

And buy the Double Barrel.

More Shots = More Rep.

If these three coincide but do not interfere with each other, you will get extreme rep.

There's many other zones beyond the lava place on Padres you can go to. Catacombs, Beckett's Quarry, El Sudoron, and the town on the back beach.

Yes, try swimming around Padres until you come across a beach. It takes about 5 minutes to get there, 10 if you go through the caves. I level my dagger there with the Gypsys and Grenadiers.

Yeah, I don't know what pistol level you are, but use it on gypsies in El Sudoron or the beach. Hex shot them until the blue numbers no longer show, all their voodoo will be gone. Then you can use lead shot to finish

I cant use hex shot O_o and I put my level in the first post... Im training my pistol to USE hex shot XD but thanks anyway

Yep. Padres Beach is a great place to level up! Expecially if you have Hex Eater shot you can make the gypsies not hit you after a few shots. And, also.. before you drop your doll and pick up the other weapons intesnly? Get 20 doll! Drain rocks!!! And it can save you the trouble of going to jail if you use it at the right time.

1. Make a friend with healing/cure on the voodoo doll
2. Go to Isla Tormentia cave
3. Have friend attune you (and only you) and shoot up the lone Dreg in the first chamber with a regular (not aimed) lead shot. This will take a while
4. Friend heals as needed (which is usually quite freqently)
5. After many shots enjoy the 40+ rep to your pistol, and your friend can enjoy a 40+ rep boost to the voodoo doll just for healing you.
6. Wait for respawn and repeat.
7. Enjoy the Hex eater shot, have fun killing voodoo baddies.

Sorry didnt see level.

So since you're level 8 pistol, I would suggest giant crabs. On driftwood, they range from about 16 to 23. That's right in the range you need to be for good rep. Just pick on one and back up as you hit it.

Padres should still be pretty good for leveling pistol for a level 8. Don't use take aim to the max. Use lead shot without take aim, or as some people have been saying, hit take aim quickly.

You must be taking a really long route to get there through the caves. I can reach the beach in a couple minutes.
