im a level 50 and own francis brigade a strict military guild which fights the eitc guilds and im called noob all the time by level 30s 20s and sometimes level 10s. the eitc people are the ''trolls '' they think they own everything our guild is trying to break them down and bring back the theme of pirates not eitc ill tell you they are so annoying!!!! they just swings swords not in pvp then when you go to pvp them they say i have no time for you, ahh!!!!!!!!!!!!! they drive me off the walls!

Well maybe if you just let them be, there will be less hatred and anger... and therefore people won't insult you as much... seriously, you should just let the EITC guilds be. Most of them just mind their own business anyway.

any way i admit one time back long ago in 08 i would have considered myself to be a newb but i was also a noob because i kept trying to kill skeleton ships lol but no i am no noob now im once again a "fully mastered pirate "

Who are these EITC guilds? I've been playing since May 08 and I've never encountered them? I've heard them mentioned several times here on the forums and a couple times in game. I've heard them called griefers and trolls. If thats what they be and you're occupying all your time picking fights with them then that makes you no better than they are and a griefer as well. In my view and that goes for any guild or player that spends their time going around picking fights with other guilds and players. There are plenty of enemies to fight in game without making trouble for other players. Such behavior ammounts to harrassment and should be reported as such.

I really do think the term noob is misused. i was doing that moon curse thing one day, my and some masted level 50 pirate killed the last skeleton on Tortuga by shooting him. no one said thank you for beating a level 50 pirates and ending the curse on Tortuga. instead, someone called me and that level 50 pirate gun noobs! me and him both masted gun! if could, i would set him on fire with me staff.

That pirate meant to say that it isnt rally a fair fight if there are masters ganging up on everyone else and using blunderbuss, although i agree with this i also think you should be able to use whatever weapon you want, when you want (( that why disney gave us the new weapons...))

just dont go into curse thinking you are going to have people adore you just bc you beat them.

Yes, I saw someone (Who is the GM of a very large guild, and will go unnamed) use Viper's Nest and pull all the enemies in the gold room, then get them in one hit with a Full-Moon special, all while a few guildies and I were trying to get some treasure and rep. He didn't apologize or offer to join crew, just came and went on his marauding spree. He was FULLY MASTERED. He doesn't need to rep-steal too terribly bad. That irritated me, and shows that even level 50s can be noobs.

But the point is that it's just plain rude and it IS used way too loosely. Like if someone makes a mistake in the game, they will be called a noob for it.
Now if it's used in a joking sense; to me that is different.

I do not like the term noob probably as much as i dislike the term rep stealer.
When a young player starts misbehaving i simply tell them to knock it off.I've had pretty good luck with it. I will try to help them if i can and then move on.
