I think that it would be a good idea to add these types of things into the Privateer scenario. I mean they're already pitting us against each other in ship PvP, so why not just make those 2 islands into land PvP. You launch your ship from a privateer island, and then you port on the other side and hack away at your "enemies." You'd be designated as fightable by a flag of your home island above your head.. that or an emblem next to your name like founders have.
Also, on the classes side of things. Maybe, instead of making beginning of the game classes, they could make mid to end game classes. Example: Around level 20-25 you get a quest to talk to one of the class trainers (Tia for mage, will turner for rouge, jack sparrow for fighter, etc...) Once you choose a class you earn certain increases in stats. For instance: A mage (of course another, piratey name would replace mage) would have higher voodoo offense and defense as well as a higher mana pool, whereas a fighter type class would have higher melee defenses and more health.) If this is confusing, dont worry about it.. im just rambling ![]() **But then, around level 35-40, you get an even more in depth class system where you choose to be a dps (damage per second) mage or a healer. For the case of the fighter.. you can choose to be a tank or a dps (damage per second) player. This would be chosen, again, by a quest and can be changed later by paying a somewhat hefty sum of gold at a certain vender. At level 50!!-- you get a final class quest. This quest leads you to your ultimate profession. You get to choose weapons and armor (i pray for statted armor every day lol) that will be specific for your class and no other class can use them. **Of course, the best part about not choosing classes at the start is.. you can change them whenever you feel like it!! Just like skill point allocation, you can reset your class, and re-quest to get your new class. This will keep the game interesting and fresh. Of course, with classes comes a million other options... which we'll save for another day. Thanks for reading! hahaha |

Yes I read your post fully MacHazzard, and it sounds nice! But a lot more depth can be put into this. Well Disney can think of that, as this is a highly complicated topic. For example, for Mage, other skills can be unlocked such as: Necromancery, Alchemy, etc..

I do like the idea of these "classes". It gives a lot more uniqueness to every character. However, we should be able to have more than one. Maybe at certain levels, you can quest for another, and you can have up to three.
However something to watch out for. This is a pirate game, so I would prefer if we don't venture too far from the pirate part of it. I'm ok with our voodoo and teleportation, etc., but lets not push it too far, savvy? |

I think it would be cool as long as the pets help and don't need to be fed every two seconds then die when you don't feed them. Why would we feed pets if we don't eat?

I agree with captain Jason. I think there should be a pvp server and on different islands, there were recruiting tables navy would be in the forts such as fort dundee or fort charles. and there is a NPC sitting down writting you go up to him and he has a menu and it says join the navy. Then it would have a list of time to be in service such as how many real life weeks you want to serve it is up to you how long when it runs out you could add more or add more weeks. As for the E.I.T.C. you could go to knigshead to find a recruiter it would have the same options as the navy. And for Jolly Roger you can be recruited at ravens cove or in the swamps of cuba. For each side they would have unique quests and thing you can do over again such as for jolly roger sink navy or E.I.T.C. or pirates ships ( if you areo n the pvp server ). The navy could be you things like ship patrolling such as following a area on the sea and return also such as defeating pirates on the pvp server. And last the E.I.T.C. you do tasks such as you start off in a smal lfellt such as the expedition fleet but smaller you have goods from india you must get to port royal. On the way undead marauders try to stop you or even pirate players if they are there.
If you have other side quests for sides please add more curious to see ideas |

Yes.
I completely agree, there should be an entire server that is essentially one giant mayhem match, where when you walk through the streets anyone can kill you and on th seas anyone can sink you or maybe just one island that is one giant ongoing mayhem match.
I think PvP is too limited and we should be able to acess servers where you can kill anyone walking on the streets. |

On the horizon
Work for the enemy is NOT a good idea. all it will do is make friends fight against each other. most of this has come true, and the new ships should be coming out soon. guild islands? that would make the sea way to crowded. but is a good idea, so it would be on only one server, 5 guild islands per server.
