Does anyone know how to get to the test files or if you have to have some special permission or anything, any help is appreciated

Okay matey, if by "test files" you mean access to the Test Server, you need to sign up on the Official POTCO page.

Now if you're talking about how to open up the files and have a look around, Pirates Online is programed in Panda so you will have to open the files up with that.

To get into the test files - you have to have test and a program to get the files. I haven't tried getting the phase files from test yet...just might do that sometime!
