I have a quick question. I would like to be involved in this, but I am a member of many different guilds. If I were to join, would I be a representative from all of these guilds? Also, would I have to place all of my guild information down in an application?

So for clarification purposes, only members of DW and BBK can be permanent council members? What if those two guilds don't want to join the Conclave? I don't mean to stir up trouble, I'm just curious if having a sub-forum here is really that important.

Countainer, just because a guild has a subforum, doesnt make them a guild worthy of the council. Personally, if I were to choose between having Del in my council because he is on the forums, or Eric McRage, I would have to choose Eric. He may not be on the forums, but he has a mighty guild. No offense intended at all Del, just saying that there are many mighty guilds without subforums.

Allow me to clear up the confusion....

An oligarchy is a government that is run by a few, with those claiming the power having some form of social power or ranking. This, is not what I want the Conclave to be. It makes everything sound to... out of touch, between those who lead and those who join. And I am certainly not giving anybody more power over another just because they're guild is "popular." Basically everybody on this site knows I am a strong advocate for the small, unrecognized guilds out there, who also do their part. Those guilds are where the future lie, which is why I'm going to ensure EVERYBODY has equal power in this gathering of guilds.

In order to make sure this is all O.K. with the actual guilds being represented, it would be nice if ONLY the Guildmaster of the guild itself signs up.

The guilds that wish to be represented can choose rather they want their Guildmaster to send in a pirate, or a representative. However, to avoid mass confusion, I ask that you don't shove too many members in to the Conclave. 3 would be the biggest amount I recommend.

Crest, in your case, I would prefer if you only represented 1 of the guilds your in. Having one represent many would be a huge clutter. So, possibly, you could work something out amongst the guilds your in on who will send in who.

Having a subforum really isn't all that important. It's just a better way to advertise your guild, keep everything organized, and so forth. As such, we will NOT be basing membership statuses on subforums.

Probably, if the GM says it's okay, you can post a screenie of the chat saying he approves.. or something.. idk. If the GM isn't on POF, that is.

I agree and obolish permanent members based on if they have a sub forum there still maybe perminet members but who and for what resion will be disused at a later date.

What are these perminet members? your thinking people will stay forever? its a good thing to wish that way but things change people stop playing just look to the brethren court they thought they would be there for a long time and ended up not

Container you say that everyone is equal yet to me it seems as though you are trying to put yourself and Del up ahead... While Del forces himself back down as an equal.... Maybe i am just missinterpeting...

Clarify? um ok..... A Pirates Online Database is what can hold a vareity of things weapons skill cards maps of islands marking emeny locations and dig spots. All these i have access too and if a subform is created i'd be more than happy to post those along with tutorials for the guilds in the collective to use to help better their knowledge about this game.

I wish there was a thread just for applications, and minimum info (for these who already know what is this about), to avoid the clutter; and other place just do discuss questions, and all sort of details for the process to be more organized, some times these deals just distract the applicants or makes the thread large and more difficult/time consuming to go through

We really can't post that many threads that have to do with one thing, unless we have a subforum. It's clutter to the boards.
