The Pirate Conclave
 

The Pirate Conclave (or as some of you know it as, the "guild collective") is a gathering of guilds founded on the sole-purpose of uniting the guilds of the Caribbean, through friendship, simpathy, and all-around fun!

The Conclave and it's guilds, once managing to get off the ground, will regularly partake in events, held by myself, or any particular guild who wishes to host an event themselves, such as Ship Races, Tag, Raids, and a bunch more stuff (as in, game ideas) that rolls around in me dusty old head! Although these events are mainly for Conclave guilds, we will encourage any guild or pirate who is interested in joining, come with us to experience the great atmosphere we hope to build in this establishment!

This gathering also serves the purpose of helping other guilds get along, and develop their guilds under the guidance and advice of their fellow Guildmasters (should they choose to take it, of course.) Although we believe in Conclave and what it is, we all must put our own guilds first, savvy? ;)

The Conclave has a specific set of rules and guidelines that MUST be followed by all participating guilds and pirates, to ensure these waters sail smoothly. Please remember, once the Conclave has grown member-wise, these rules may be subject to change, via voting.


- RESPECT YOUR FELLOW GUILD! One of the main components of this Conclave is respecting those other guilds that participate in the Conclave. Whether you have a past with another guild, or disagree with what they do or who they are, conflicts are to be left at the door. Any conflicts that arise between two guilds in the Conclave, whether in or out of the events held by ourselves, may leave both guilds subject to ejection from the Conclave!

- Try to get involved! What's the purpose of joining this here Conclave, if all ye do is sit back and watch the show? We highly encourage each and every guild to do their best to stay active in the on-goings of the Conclave. However, please keep in mind, involvement in the Conclave should NOT be a main priority. Having to be inactive for an amount of time due to guild/real life issues is highly understandable, and accepted.

- This Conclave is not in anyway an alliance between guilds! This Conclave is simply for the purpose of bringing guilds together in a wholesome enviroment. If you join this Conclave, do NOT expect anything out of your fellow guilds, other than fun-spirits and a welcoming vibe. Any actions taken by Conclave guilds to help other guilds, whether in conflicts with other guilds, sustaining peace within a guild, or anything that could involve sticky and ugly situations, is NOT sponsored by this court.

- This Conclave is, and always will be, run democratically. Each and every guild is equal in power, no matter size, nor age, nor status, and will all have a say in the functions of the Conclave. I myself am simply here to make sure everything runs smoothly. Don't see me as "The Head" - see me as the chaperone ;)

Once again, keep in mind, these rules are subject to change. Failure to abide to these rules may result in ejection from the Conclave.


The central area of organization in The Conclave is a guild (which will hopefully have the same name as this here place,) which is run by my baby pirate, Captain Lawrence Prince. This guild serves as a way for all the members of the Conclave to communicate easily, as well as allow myself to keep track of who is in it, and who isn't.

When a guild wishes to become a part of The Conclave, they must submit an application form (which can be found near the bottom of this page) stating all of the information that is listed in that form. Once submitted, the application will be viewed over by myself, and the other guilds of The Conclave. This is to ensure nobody has any problems with said guild joining. Currently, I mainly deal with the applications, with insight from the Guildmasters, due to the small size of the Conclave. As we expand, however, we will discuss more actively each and every applicant.

After a guild has joined the Conclave, the Guildmaster of that guild, or a representative of the guild, may send in a baby pirate (preferably one that relates to the name of the guild it represents) to become officially part of The Conclave.

Whenever we get the chance, we will be holding various events that allow for all the Conclave's guilds to come and enjoy themselves. Occasionally, we will have in-game meetings, but these meetings will usually be short and painless, unlesss a very important issue is at hand.

And Dog of course you should ask your GM first your using his name and what if he disagrees with what this stands for highly unlikely but still i would ask :D

First off you have to ask your gm to join also this is an olagarchy to not just a democracy. Also shadow sorcerers is all ready in the collective conclave whatever you call it so I assume Davy fireskull won't have to rejoin.

Yes ther will be a Group basically at the head of the conclave the console which will include 3 permanent members and elected memembers also olagarchy means rule by few sorry for the confusion.

Well elect members when more guilds are in the collective also only gms can sign up there guild for the conclave. As for the permanent members of the counsal it will ne any guild with a sub fourm

I have a quick question. I would like to be involved in this, but I am a member of many different guilds. If I were to join, would I be a representative from all of these guilds? Also, would I have to place all of my guild information down in an application?

Council member guilds have to have a sub-forum here? There are only three guilds with sub-forums. PNC, BBK, and Dueces wild. Doesn't that limit your choices for council members?
