Along the horizon...
There is a story....
Each and every pirate loves to share and tell stories that they have collected over the years. That of ghosts, goblins, ghouls, lost treasures, and anything else that has the ability to scare the living daylights out of others. Yet among the shanties, the myths, and the lore, one legend alone stands by itself in the hall of eerie tales... Many moons ago, an ancient treasure was hidden amongst the numerous islands of the Caribbean, by a group of pirates known distinctly as the Blood Skull Cult... Savage pirates they were, ruthless in the art of massacering their foes in untold numbers, and in only the most gruesome fashions... over the years of their pillages and plunders, the mysterious band buried lost artifacts of untold mystic powers in locations unknown, their value unimaginable, their appearance unmistakable, and their powers, ungodly. Among these items, was a legendary casque said to be worn by the unnamed leader of the Blood Skull Cult himself! They were thought to be lost... And yet, some evidence appears to point otherwise. Rumors have been floating around the Caribbean, that the location of the infamous cascade is finally beginning to reveal itself. But many questions still remain... are these rumors true? Do these relics of the Lost Worlds still exist? What will be found, and where? And most importantly... Who will claim them first?  |

Glad to see all of you have interest in the next chapter! (You better...)
I have been working on the quest for a while now, and to the looks of it, this one is going to be bigger, badder, longer, unique..er, and most of all, a challenge! As the way it looks this chapter is going to far overcast the size of the previous two quests. It might just be bigger than both of them combined, meaning over....., well, you can figure the number out! This quest plans to, like the last one, consist of all aspects of the game - raiding, PvP, SvS, games - and with the addition of a few NEW quests, such as Disguise, Acting, Looting, Fishing, Raven's Cove, and plenty of other things! (And yes, we will play stealth in this quest, a lot!  )As time progresses, I will be posting more and more stories and footnotes that will lead up to the story at hand. So, for you eager beavers who want to feed your interested hungers, then stay tuned! And, one last thing..... The Hunt Begins, Friday, October 29th.

 Among the many stories of the Blood Skulls, tells one of their mysterious leader, Captain Drake Bloodskull. Little is known about the man himself. In fact, many question the truth of his existence. Many pirates believe that he was simply created to provide unanswered questions about the Legion, to both eliminate speculation, and use their potrayal of him as a way for missionaries to preach against the wicked. He is drawn as a blood-thirsty maifest of the devil himself, a demon worshipper, often sacrificing his own crew mates to gain power in himself. There are even stories that say the lost souls of his crew roam the islands today, as either ghosly images, or Undead soldiers, infected by Jolly Roger. The viewpoint would see him as merely an urban legend. Yet recent tales prove otherwise. Some weary explorers, who have slipped passed the slowly lifting fog of Raven's Cove, have reported sightings of a strange, eerie light, wandering about the island. Those unlucky enough to be seen and caught by the ghost, are never heard from again... The descriptions depict a burly ghost, boasting a thick, red beard across his face, drapped from head to toe in wildly torn, extravagant clothing, with eyes that peered as though they were the gates of the underworld themselves, burning an image in one's mind. Could it be true? Has Bloodskull truly returned to the Caribbean, a demon of his own thirst for blood? If he has come back, how can we escape him? As most importantly.. What has he returned for? |
