Test Release Notes - September 21, 2010

[Davy Darkrage]

• Raven's Cove quests no longer get reset during server interruptions
• Fixed crashes when interacting with Crazy Ned & Kudgel
• Green circles for loot pouches on Raven's Cove are visible
• Your compass should work correctly after exiting jail
• The skeleton poker game now has spooky music
• You can no longer talk with an NPC while you are in battle
• The quest page GUI has been updated and optimized for faster loading and better readability
• General Darkhart & Undead Timothy Darton are attackable again
• Retraining a weapon now updates your skill page correctly no matter which weapon you have equipped
• Sitting NPCs no longer notice and wave to you
• Removed a hidden door in El Patron's Mine that was preventing players from going through the cave door correctly
• Fixed a crash when completing the Raven's Cove questline with a female avatar
• Fixed a crash when enemies showed up on your compass in an invasion
• Fixed a crash for quests that require you to search to container
• Fixed a crash when exiting fishing after catching a fish
• Fixed a crash when closing the 'Found Fishing' pop-up while fishing
• Fixed a crash when trying to turn in the Thomas Fishmeister quest to get the bonus while having a full inventory
• Fixed crashes when doing various emotes
• Fixed various potion game crashes

Known Issues

• During the tutorial, the game freezes when visiting Tia Dalma to get the compass
  - Workaround: Skip the Tutorial

*whistles* That's a lot of crashes, haha. So about the NPC thing... if we can't talk to NPCs in battle anymore, does that mean no more healing from them?

Sorry mate, but no. As much as I'd love for it to be out next week, there's still a lot of testers who haven't finished this quest. They may be waiting for a certain number of people to do that, just in case there's things they missed, before continuing to release it on live.

I'm only a level 28, almost to level 29, so I have about a level and a half before I can test this at all.

But this test update was pretty big. There are a few minor bugs and crashes not mentioned in the update, so I don't think we'll see Raven's Cove hit live just yet.

Same here Ironhawk. I am currently exactly on the spot for half way to level 29. Level and a half to the quest.

Since the latest Raven's Cove update on Test my friend is unable to complete the Padres teleportation quest, on Test, because the Eye of Nabai is nowhere to be found...He has searched everywhere and I have helped search even the caves, el sudoron and the backside of Padres...it is nowhere!

We both sent a feedback on test but so far he can not find it to complete the quest - Anyone else have this problem

I am unable to successfully dig for Tortuga and Port Royal teleportation totems - I will probably have the same thing happen for PDF. I know of others who have had this problem as well.
I sent feedback too but haven't gotten a response. I'm sure they will fix this soon, hopefully at least!
