Aye, I might have joined a year ago as a noob, but like all ye veterans, I miss that secret ingredient... I remember my first War Class Ship I bought. I was so amazed. I miss that sense of adventure you got when my little level ten running for my life in tormenta. I've played probably since the game just came out of beta. It was awesome. I remember being a level 7 and going with my friend to fight level 20-ish enemies thinking that nothing could stop us. Back then it was Pirates of the Caribbean. Now it's the game disney created with pirates and other junk. Don't get me wrong, i love the game, it's just that disney took too much from their other games. When ever they make a new game, it just ends up turning into everything else they make, a game that's too incredibly simple to do something. I used to think that dieing meant u tried hard. Now you die because no one is there to revive u or u weren't paying attention. There are times when I love the new updates that came, and times that i wish i could get rid of them. Nowadays everyone is whining about not finding the lost weapon or a famed weapon. What happened to the weapon upgrade quests? Back at the beginning, it didn't matter if u had a rusty cutlass or a pirate blade. Now if ur a basic or u can't use certain weapons people call u a "noob". I wish i could turn back time.

Well, I don't agree with the quest part, seeing as I'm level 40 with mastered sailing and cutlass, and nearly mastered daggers and guns and have been playing since about 3-4 months after beta, and I'm still on Gunny... Anywho, yes these late updates have completley pushed up my weapons and Not. levels. I also have been feeling huge amounts of nostalgia and often converse with my guildies about the "Good ol' days" I remember being constantly killed on Kingshead, Of raiding theives den (then quite a challenge) and being horrified of Peridida. Now, not so much. I last went to Isla Perdida to do the Scary Mary quest, and haven't been to Theives Den in as long as I can remember. (At least on Jason) I'm hoping that my new pirate (Named "The Fritz", I kid you not :/) Will at least let me feel a little nostalgia, seeing as Danny boy seems to have lost the spark for me...
