only get the war galleon if you have a good high lvl cannon crew. otherwise you'll be sunk in that snail.

I prefer War Sloops, actually. Though they sink fast, if you are a good captain and experienced sailor you can easily outmaneuver the enemy cannon fire. Just make sure you have a few dots on Windcatcher, one on Come About, one on Ramming Speed, and a couple on Full Sail. If you have that, you'll fill up cargo fast in that speedy ship without taking too much damage.
If you want a more expensive ship, go with the Frigate. It is less maneuverable and a little slower, but still a step up from anything else (besides the Sloop). Hope this helps!

Yeah, yeah, yeah.. me knows me be a wench and all.. but me really
me WAR FRIGATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Me'll admit ye get more cargo space in the galleon, but ye get a better hull in the Frigate. So to me, the extra 4 cargo's ain't worth it! Ye'll sink enough in a War Frigate!! Just had to add me 2 gold pieces (2 cents... get it.. .hardy har har).... and PS.. what does DAVY know???? (throws sand in his face) |

![]() Owing two war frigates also allows me to make-quick docs on deserted islands with a semi-battered ship (like Rums or Driftwood) then just grab the other and keep sailing after the big prizes (like after sinking a flagshp - the Hold is full, the ship is not bad but is shot up a bit - and there comes an Ironwall Flagship you KNOW has a Royal Chest on it and you have to get back out fast before it sails by). Besides, War Frigates just look awesome Nothing is cooler than shipping out of Port Royal with 15 newbie light sloops in the water and half are saying what ship is that and the other start shooting becsue they think you MUST be an enemy ship being so big LOL

Im only at about 11000 coins though (been doing main quest alot) I think my closest bet is the war sloop, isnt it like the fastest ship in game (besides light sloop) on its own(no full sail or anything)?
I think after those getting a war frigate would be neet, its like the flying dutchman lol. |

The ship I use most is the war galleon. You can sink just about anything in 2 or 3 hits with broadsides. The war galleon does require a certain way of sailing. I hardly ever sink in my WG and that 16 cargo haul is the best.
I have the WF and the WS also. They hardly ever see the high seas. |

Im thinking the war sloop, cuz its fast and all. But in the end of all things, i only wanna end up with one ship.

Find a friend with all these ships and ask them if you can sail/plunder with each ship. Then make your decision
