Let's Tell Disney Off.

I found this site on disney that some of you might have known of and some of you might not, but!!! i think instead of posting what idea's we all have (here) let's just start to tell disney directly. ( i dunno if this has been posted already or not and i can't find one)

i found a place where we can start sending in ideas/comments/suggestions and so on, if i was you or anyone else i would keep sending in the comments or suggestions and bugs till they either fix it or get it right. for me ima send in my idea for fixing the chat to make it easyer to chat to someone.

Thanks for the link!...I just sent in the "Walk the Plank" Idea .. maybe if we all do it will be considered and soon it will be an update we are all waiting for!

Oh... That is well said. That Policy basically stops them from having to respond to anything. Kinda silly really.. I Mean Ideas are good!

So in one hand you are encouraged to send ideas according to their website - but on the other have they warn you about sending ideas...

This is legal jarble for "send your ideas - but if we use them they were part of our plans anyway and you get no credit / monitary value for them" - ya gotta love the law...

Maybe its time to be a pirate and just plunder them! LOL

I think that's so you cant go back to disney and try to get compensation if they use an idea similar to what you submitted. Even though you might think your idea is unique, probably others have thought of it and submitted it also, or they might have already had it in works. I think it's more disney covering themselves.

I love how theres like a page worth of the full clause that goes into

"if you do send us something intentionally or unitentionally, we are allowed to use it in any shape, form, or fashion no matter what it may be without consent of the original owner, blah blah blah.."

"...if the object is questioned to be a suggestion or not, we will automatically legalize it as a suggestion and we are allowed to use it in any shape, form, or fashion no matter what it may be without consent of the original owner."

So basically, Maxximvs is 100% right when he said that they basically mean "send us your ideas if you want to, there not yours anymore."

It's really asshame though that even the beta testers disney picked by hand still have no dirrect contact with the game dev's... i did speak with a pirates online rep yesterday that suggests we send in ideas but if disney doesn't even listen what's the point? i did speak with the rep about the black pearl quest and she told me it's not even finished yet?..... how can they make us pay for a unfinished product and when i asked her why the updates with new shops and emotes were coming out now instead of fixing the black pearl problem she told me they have two set's of dev's those that make the game and those that fix it which made sense but also tell's us who is slacking ( i'd dock their pay lol ) anyway that was the answer i got

Actually, I don't see how that's slacking as the Black Pearl is better off being gone the way it was when POTCO came out. I'd say the reason she said it wasn't done is becuase they've went and retooled everything from stage 2.(One is planning, doubt they went that far.) I agree though in some aspect of it, 2 months is a little up there.

The 'fix' group has a lot to fix. I would agree black pearl isn't top priority. There's a lot of basic fundamental fixes they need to make to the game first.

Also take a look at this thread. Only one person so far has said they would like to see the boss battle fixed.
