Release Notes - August 3, 2010

* Updates:
o Removed new ship types from the Shipwrights. This feature is not ready for release and needs further development.
o Fixed Guild Manager errors related to the recent Guild updates and Veteran class addition.

The release seemed fine to me... other than levels, damage, etc.

If they do release it soon though, ship of the line needs work. Some cannons give you no view of the enemy at all....

Let's face it. The Ship-Of-The-Line was originally made for battling us during Expedition Fleets. This means of course that a few of their features would just be for show, so of course they need a while to work that out.

Well, fishing was "previewed" on Test back in the beginning of May so let's hope the new ships are not much farther away than November - which seems awful far from now lol.

There's also the non-solid wall...

I kind of wish someone would have purchased something OTHER than a Ship Of The Line - I've been wondering if the Phantom, Revenant, Cerberus, Kingfisher and Warlord look like their corresponding enemy ship...

I saw a guy use a kingfisher yesterday. It looked exactly like a regular kingfisher, only battling a revenant.

So it had the navy sails and everything?

This makes me wonder, because what would we ever need an enemy ship for? Other than spying for some quest, I guess.

But still, it confuses me that they had problems releasing these new ships. If they make a ship, they need to realize that if enemies can maneuver it just fine, so should players.

It'll be nice to see the update hit test again some time, but I hope there will be more ships with the release when it comes out.

They are probably using the same files as the enemy ship and haven't removed to sails/colors yet which is why they weren't ready for release.

I can't find Boss Sam ( Samuel in Becket's Quarry) on either of the test servers. Was he moved?

You can find an Undead Blackjack Gambler at a Tortuga tavern on test. This is most likely to test for the Undead Poker for Raven's Cove.

I can't find him either, I'd guess it's a bug that he doesn't spawn, cause I saw him once there.
