Also found out that there are story events for collecting all of a certain treasure category. However, it was either removed or it never worked.

It is also supposed to tell you the fish's weight, xp and gold.

There's also a regular lure and a legendary lure.

Fishing has a reputation system.

Another great find. Don't get too far ahead of yourself though mate, you'll run out of things to amaze me with. Still, that leaves two more treasure area slots if you count fish and cannons of the deep. Not sure if fishing is going to be very fun or not...

Actually, by the looks of it, it might take up two slots. (Both Set 10 and Set 11)

Odd, I saw 4 gems sort of that I have never even see before. I assume they are the teleportation gems - eye of nabai, first metal of port royal... so you can teleport there whenever you want. Also, when the weapons list said creatures, maybe some of it meant to link to stuff in Tia's Menegarie.

um yea real pirates did fish. Most pirates really weren't rich, so they couldn' afford to buy meat. And they had to eat somehow (besides stealing food ) so they resorted to fishing. i think :/
