Can you give me 5 reasons...
The game is beginning to get very old, and with the drought and my wallet being rather empty, my time may be up. All I want to know is if there are 5 reasons that anybody, any group, or anything can give me to stay in this game. I see nothing, but if you guys have any ideas, feel free to give me a few.

1. socialize with pirate friends
2. adventure and fun can be had without lvling and quests. 3. it helps get away from the real world for a while if things are rense or bored.\ 4.its fun to play 5. the suspense of what is coming next |

1. (Already mentioned) It's a very social game.
2. Kill some stuff without the gore of some games. 3. Fun to relax, kick-back, and look at the scenery. 4. Always a good place to begin games-within-games, such as races, contests, etc. 5. Got to love the pirates theme. |

Good points, but here are some things I already have by playing other MMO's and playstation games Online.
1. I can socialize with Friends, and even chat with voice chat on certain games I play. 2. I have seen much more vast and colorful games such as Final Fantasy in which you can turn blood off of. 3. Many other games that I play have fun mini games and races to do with friends and rivals alike that i play, but they contain less lag, and have more official expansion updates. 4. I must say that the pirates theme is fun, but you have to understand, with Sea Battle and Travel being the way it is, it is just like piloting a Space Ship. They need mre realistic ship movements and controls to satisfy me. 5. Though I have no clue what is to come next, I am unsure if certain updates announced will show up in the next year or not. 6. It is fun, but many bugs and lag cast it into the shadow of console games, and more expansive online games. 7. I could get away from the real world with just about any game, but a game that is new and realistic that can actually keep to its main theme keeps me out of the real world for a good time. -Once again, all good points, but it will take much more to keep this game in the back of my head. |

Compared to other games I can't think of 5 reasons, let alone one. However for reasons within the game leaving out comparisons the given reasons seems enough. I also think that it depends on what you look for in a game.

I can't really list 5 things that aren't already mentioned, especially when comparing to other games. But that doesn't really matter, as my reasons for playing are different than your reasons, it's best to find your own reasons to stay.
Good luck with whichever decision you choose. |

I can't give you 5 reasons that haven't already been listed, but I personally would go basic before completely deleting my account. I say this because I have developed friendships within the game and enjoy playing and so on with these people, the kind that just aren't as fun as simply being a friend of theirs on a social network or what have you.
As far as what TSC says about what you're looking for in a game, I heartily agree. It's all in personal preference. My boyfriend plays Warcraft and LOVES it, I see how it's fun and usually enjoy watching him play, but have no desire to create an account of my own. He is the same about POTCO. Sven says it nicely...it's all in your own reasons for staying or going. I have some faith that with the 4th movie coming in the future they will keep the game going for a while longer and at the very least try to attract new players with new content. So maybe I'm biased to this game. /shrug. Hate to see a good pirate go but it's very understandable.

it all matters on how u feel yes i know thats not a very good answer cuz u probably dont know how u feel thats why u asked and im getting way off here! haha sry my point is same as the rest i would say become basic dont go away totally its always fun to hang with ur friends on there i spend days just talking and having fun with them and not even getting rep at all and maybe u might just need a break for a little while and come back and regain the love of the game again even though it be sad to see a pirate go its all ur choice mate hope ur happy with whatever u choose

Bravo... lol, to be truthful, you are right. It seems they do not give much of a care for their customers, or undertsnad we want more than a game we shoot at ships in... It is truly annoying seeing that we have land cannons, but yet, we shoot at random CPU enemies. I want more than just that...
Allow me to be frank, I made this up to see how the rest of your guys can still play this game. I did not plan to quit, and will be returning to the game. Although, I am now wondering a bit, how would you like to improve this game, and give me some ideas of what you think Big D can improve on. Whether it is the flow of updates you'd like to talk about, customer service, or an idea about a current update you think could be changed. |

For me, I stay for the people. I enjoy playing the game because of the people I play it with. It makes all the difference for me. Would I like to see new additions to the game? Of course! I patiently wait for new content and sometimes impatiently wait, just like everyone else.
When it comes down to it though, new content is great until you get bored with it because you have nobody to share it with. But that is just my opinion of course.

Invasions are really popular, and I know very few people who do not like to gang up with their friends in order to face a boss that has a ? mark for a level. But it is beginning to get old in itself, why not add us a little quest or something. Hows about an island that pops out of the sea every once in a while. Led by Davy Jones, you move into his base, and take out his crew. When you have gained 51% control over the island by taking out enough enemies, you are prompted that the EITC Elite forces are on their way. You have either a gate control job, or set your cannon to his ships to attempt to stop Beckett from attacking. Either way, you still have The Crew of Davy Jones attacking. You pretty much stay on this island until you die, and cannot be revived. But you get your rep when you get in jail. A much different type of Invasion is needed if we're going to keep interested. Although I admit an everlasting invasion on Cozilles was a change, that is not what I mean... The game needs more content, plain and simple, the current content is either old, boring, dumb(minigames), or getting there. |

Cannon would be awesome if they actually leveled your cannon skills.
I really like your ideas Raikel. |

If one has to ask for reasons then, I feel you already know whether or not to leave the game. Everyone looks for something different in an on-line game & knows if it is time to move on or not...
