Preview of coming attractions?

Ok, so I was perusing a shall remain nameless social networking site which has a habit of posting invasion times. While I was there I found a 2 photo gallery called invasion pics. Now, one was just odd cause a skellie had one of the lost weapon swords, an they were fighting in what looked like Wicked Thicket. For those of you who are interested, this is the pic. Mostly it's odd due to being in the invasions gallery and the skellie's sword.

The one that really caught my attention is this.

What got me most is who is at the helm of that skellie ship. Unless I'm blind (almost) or much mistaken (doubtful) that there appears to be Jolly Roger! Anyone care to speculate on this piece of work? Is it just teaser art? Or is it previews to coming attractions? If it is previews of coming attractions it's more than just the obvious. Check out the skellie on the rail and his glowing dagger. I could sit here for hours trying to wrap my brain around the questions this pic raises. But I'll leave it to you guys to speculate. What do you think? Is it just art? Or something more?

Yea, I saw this too, it might just be artwork, idk. it appears to be a ship invasion. maybe in a skeletonf leet event you have to board the big ship?

These are promotional artworks. Same as the video clip that shows a skeleton ship firing skeletal cannons. They look good but aren't really based on the actual game.

Like the TV commercial where ALL those pirates are fighting TONS of skeletons in town and the one guy says, "Help." LOL

What Eliza said is correct. Would be nice (and sadly laggy) if they added this to the game, but it's highly unlikely. That was mainly meant for the second image, however the first one, the sword isn't rare (it is the same design as the highest available sword for purchase, prior to the inventory).

Maybe just publicity shots? or PR photos for the game? I know I was digging the commercial when I first starting playing way back when. We can always hope though. Nice shots whatever they are meant for.

dude! ok in that picture when the ghost ship boaded the frigate it shows jolly roger on the ghost ship! LOOK WERE THE WHEEL IS AND THEN U WILL SEE JOLLY ROGER!

Highly unlikely I'll tell you that, one there's NO CANNONS and that is not going to happen when we fight, what we going to do throw grenades at them? Don't think so. If this IS TRUE, I'd like to point out on the second screen, the sail has a sliver of color on it, a sign of ship customization? This could be true. Another is a green aura under Jolly, did he warp there somehow or spawn there? There's so many questions for that picture. A thousand words go with a single picture....

Dog is right, but there is just 1 thing I would like to say. As you all know, I am a blade master, and by looking at the second picture, I see a girl fighting a skeleton. I tell you right now we cant hit a skeletons blade and hold it like that blades crossed etc, we either hit the enemy, or it hits us. Also, there is a pirate with a tricorn hat, we do not have any tricorn hats with a point at the top, its flat.

regarless its cool to see. one thing I have been hoping for is fighting Jolly's ship at sea. I'm not saying boarding ships but fighting like with the EITC and Navy expeditions. to me would seem the next step to make with fighting Jolly after the invasions.
