Release Notes - April 13, 2010

• Pirates should now be correctly getting all items from loot containers whether on land or at sea.
• Ammo pouches should now be added to your inventory correctly so you can purchase and obtain more ammo.
• Gold drops in loot containers now give you at least five gold.
• Various weapons have had their rarity changed. This includes Blunderbusses, Muskets, Bayonets, Broadswords, and Sabres.
• Flytraps in Cuba have had their level reduced.
• Ships should no longer be dropping gold, only cargo and loot containers.
• Fixed a bug where downloading the game was not loading assets correctly which caused crashes.
• If you have no ships, your Port of Call reverts to Port Royal.
• The Gypsy in Fort Charles now sells items correctly.
• Fixed crashes during weapon upgrade and jewelry quests.
• Jolly Roger should once again animate during battle.
• Fixed an issue with tunnels that resulted in pirates running back through tunnels repeatedly.
• When removing items from a full inventory, you will be informed if items that previously would not fit are added.
• All barricades are once again removed at the end of an invasion.
• Fixed a crash when selecting hair during Make-a-Pirate.
• Fixed a rare crash when using the mouse wheel to change weapons.
• Fixed a crash when using SpeedChat on quests that required a player to sink ships.
• Fixed a crash when trying to retrain your skills at a Trainer.
• Slightly increased item drop rate for items inside Loot Containers.

Great Fixes! I wish I had test but I don't yet. (I have been waiting 2 months for it.) I hope everything comes to Open soon!! (Hopefully Thursday or Friday.) How long has all of the new stuff been on test anyway? 2 or more weeks so far.

More fixes finally! Though it probably coming out next week, more bugs probably. Although did they reset again? lol I've been staying away from test to make sure I don't get reset cause if I go on i go leveling like CRAZY.

I think it's coming to the Live Game on Thursday or Friday. Hopefully, I'm right this time. xD

I'm glad to see they are working on these bugs and glitches. Every week there seems to be an update. Kudos to them for working diligently this time and working out all the issues instead of rushing it. If this keeps up, they should have a nice smooth release when they are ready.

Nice fixes. As Dog said, i have to avoid test because i go leveling like crazy. I JUST got grenades when it got reset. Hmph.

Good news about this update...... NO RESET ON OUR PIRATES!!!

Now... We still dont know how many more bugs there are. I've "lost connection to the server" a couple times this afternoon. If that is the only one there is then we are doing good.

Sadly, I don't have a rig good enough to take on this laggy game, but rest be assured, I'll be back before summer hits. You can definitely hear me nag on and on here though, so do not think you'll be so lucky to be rid of me.

I haven't gotten on test yet today, but to me it sounds like all of the bugs I encountered on test have been fixed. And some I didn't notice.

Unless anyone notices more bugs, I honestly think it's ready for open by this friday or next monday.

I give it a 90% that it will be released this Friday, have they ever released a major update on a Monday? That would make me mad because I'm only allowed to play on the weekends

Sometimes they do.

I think one of the major updates, either a redone island or SvS, was released on a monday. Or maybe that's toontown I'm thinking about.

Anyways, I think it's unlikely that they'd release an update like this on a monday, too. There are two bugs that another tester talked about earlier today, but they don't seem major.

If they can fix those few bugs and release the new inventory system by friday, I'll be really surprised.

Actually it as both an island and SvS, because I was on vacation right before SvS was coming out. I had no clue when it was going live, and of course it comes out the next to last day of my vacation, I even watched a commercial of SvS in my Hotel room...

I didn't like the islands all that much, but I do remember Tortuga being released on Monday, and I also remember the level 15 weapons quests being added on a Monday. I really hope the update comes this weekend, but I could see it on Monday and even Tuesday. Tuesday was when the first clothes were released on live. I though it was a miracle because I had been wearing the same clothes since about 2 months before.

Just logged onto test, more bug fixes. Live is closed so maybe we have updates coming I hope so cause I heard that a guildmate of mine got some pistol that shot 12 times before reloading. Not sure though but when it hits say hi to me mr thrall captain.

Live is closed?!?!?!?! That either means they're preparing for the update or something has gone horribly wrong....
