Partner of the Week

Ahoy there mates!

It has become a tradition here for years now to, once a week, honor a pirate whose actions over the past week have affected the guild in an outstandingly positive way. A pirate who goes beyond the definition of sheer kindness, thoughtfulness, courage, and savviness. And to this pirate, he/she holds the honor of being that weeks Partner of the Week.

The process of choosing the Partner of the Week is simple:

Every week, I, the Guildmaster, will choose a list of members in the guild, that will be up for selection by the guild to be Partner of the Week. These pirates must have been in the guild for at least 2 weeks, and have shown outstanding activity, kindness, and the aspects of a great partner in crime.
Usually by Monday or Tuesday, a poll is opened with the list of canidates on the Partner of the Week thread on the guild site. ALL pirates in the guild, on the guild site, may vote in the poll. If you need to join the guild site, please PM me.
The poll will remain open until Thursday night of that week, where the final scores will be counted.
On Sunday, the winner will be announced in their very own thread on the site, as well as the Partner of the Week thread on POF.
The winner will recieve (of course) bragging rights, as well as a permenant award on the guild site.

We ask that you use your best judgement when choosing the Partner of the Week. Don't just choose somebody because they are your friend (and that includes voting for yourself, although that isn't against the rules,) choose the pirate(s) you think best deserve it. Each pirate is allowed 2 votes. You are NOT allowed to change your vote once you vote, so please make sure you think it over first! Also, DO NOT use this thread to campaign for yourself, or for others. Let others decide for themselves.
